Hey! So, I'm new to all these Halo mods and stuff and just recently started because it was summer break and I was really bored and stuff. And I have to say I am really impressed! It's as if I'm practically able to play Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo ODST, etc. I've never been able to play those games and its an awesome experience! Anyways, I recently also started play firefight maps and they are pretty fun! But I was wondering if there were multiplayer firefight maps because it would be awesome to pwn the covenant with my friends. So yeah, all help is greatly appreciated!

Firefight maps are a lot of fun

There aren't any "true" multiplayer firefight maps though. This has to do with AI (e.g. covenant) not being able to sync across a network. Basically what that means is the way a AI acts on one persons computer isn't how it acts on another persons computer.

There have been attempts to make AI sync, but none have really succeeded, not to mention you wouldn't be able to have as many scripted features in a multiplayer map verses a singleplayer map.

Though I can point you to tons of good singleplayer firefight maps.

Thanks for all the info guys! Oh and Pepzee, if you could name a few cool singleplayer firefight maps it would be superb! Well its a bummer that I can't play firefight with my friends but there are still a bunch of awesome maps though.

That is a link to a UI that has a list of firefight maps built right into it. All you have to do is copy it into your maps folder and replace your old one. From there go look at the list of firefight maps and look at their pictures and read their descriptions. It's quite a nice selection, choose something that seems interesting, then look it up here on Halomaps and download it. Then just place the map in your map folder and use the UI to play the game!
