This is a slow work in progress... I'm striving for realism if you were to be in Alaska. This map will contain my minecraft wip.

Thought I would share this with everyone... its slow going as I currently have a job and free time is limited.

If anyone has some new aircraft (realistic or not) vehicles or scenery (especially bridges and buildings) and would like them to be in this map feel free to pm me... I'm trying to makwe this map as realistic and fun as I can.


(I will also put in a secret snow speeder someplace inside of this map never been released before, at least with my permission)

Good news, I can get it a lot smoother. Now I just need to make some scenery and a cave... and find new vehicles that will work well with this map.

The race will be an air race like my first mod I made (aerorace2_fixed) only better, depending on the vehicles I find or plan on using I may script some into this map. The oddball variant will be in an enclosed area, most likely with ctf and king... not sure on the last 2 however I will see what is better.

I see the forum is under attack again... as for the animals I have some I will be adding in... I have birds, fish, sharks, pigs, and bats all animated.


Here are some pictures of the newest version, still have work on the large mountain.

If you add animals the world you created will feel more alive.


By the way you could have add rabbits because your map is actually an free roam you might aswell put something that this map will play for years.

The only animals I have are the ones from previous maps released, I have sculptures of creatures from my daz models, they are for looks only though and don't move or have good textures.

If Dennis knows it is the same person each time this happens, and the spammer is clearly using proxies, Dennis can still try to sue.

And if it actually goes through, I don't see what would stop him from just filing a subpoena to the proxies(and ISP once he reaches that point) to locate and stop you directly

I think it has that one special bitmap that makes it look shiny and stuff.

Yeah, i was playing around with some of the bitmaps, (notice the wheels of the hog in the video)

If anyone has regular jpg skins of the weapons and vehicles please send them to me and i will hopefully remake the skins... i'm thinking a ww2 look or a dragon syfi look.



Ok i have a bridge... Took the bridge from my old daz objects, have to make the collision model and some improvements/ textures as you can see.

This will be a tag file and free to use when i release the map a long with everything else as usual.

Mind if I ask what type of weapons/vehicles you plan to add? An assault rifle seems next to useless if you keep its usual functionality.

With this map I will have snipers and other custom weapons. I'm not sure if I should make the oddball and king pits 2 separate ones or not. I will include my deadly tron disk I made for king, and my minecraft stuff for oddball.
I'm new at weapons so the tron disk does not have a fp model as of now.


As of now i am not thinking too much about weapons and vehicles... I'm focused on scenery and the map itself.
Although i am thinking of making a quarter for the shotgun projectile like on the movie zombieland

This may is 100,000 by 100,000 (not sure on height now as I started with a cube, my guess 200,000) Hugeass I'm guessing is 150,000 cube, coldsnap 120,000 cube.

Also if anyone has any high res textures that will fit with my bridge, feel free to send them to me.

Yea hugeass is big but the distance wasnt good because the mountains just comes out nowhere.


But the map you created is really big and it doesnt have no bugs.

i'm just gonna go ahead and say it, but with your map being the size it is, you WILL probably have to double the accuracy of the original H1 MP weapons. also, about the shotgun, i believe what you are referring to is "dimeshot". some people would swap out the shot pellets in their shotgun shells for dimes (occasionally bean bags for non-lethal use) and when the dimes were blasted out of the shotgun, they would turn flat and spin in the air, then when they made contact, they would tumble and tear through soft material (flesh) and do a lot of damage. although halo's 8 gauge could definitely shoot quarters. perhaps have both shotgun types, quartershot dealing less to shields more to health, the standard shotgun being middle grounds. but they would still both be useless in a map that size if they weren't accurate enough to hit anything.

Not sure if i can find the prints for dimes (I know what your talking about for size), i'll think about that after my bridge.

Also there is a "fog distance" where things disappear, mine has it slightly but doesn't take away from game play.

Step 1: Open warthog physics.
Step 2: Set gravity to 1.5.
Step 3: Set ground friction to 0.4.
Step 4: Set ground depth to 0.05.
Step 5: Increase the mass of all tires.

This should add more weight to the vehicle, and especially on the tires, making it less easy to flip at the higher speeds. Another thing you can do is go to the tires and reduce ground friction so it's easier to drift, and they don't catch as much so it'll slide instead of catching and flipping. Just my suggestion to make the map a little more interesting to play.
