I dont know what is going wrong, Im exporting my ambience sounds on vegas pro 12 as PCM (Uncompressed) 16 Bits, 44,100 HZ, MONO.
Tool dont give me errors with Ogg (1) but it does with xbox compression, I customize the loopings and sound scenery correctly in guerilla, but when I open sapien and the game it doesnt play, and yeah I dont know why I can play the sound in guerilla without problems.
P.S. I have the latest OGG Vorbis DLLs files

Try 22k HZ rather than 44k. It works for me.

If they're background sounds, they wont play without a [sound environment]

well you did say they were custom ambient sounds
If they work in guerilla, they already work ingame, it's just a matter of "is the tag made correctly?" or "does the BSP where I want it to play have a sound environment?" Edited by OrangeJuice on Oct 2, 2012 at 10:51 PM

sounds environments are not necesary to play sounds! I figured out the problem, I replaced the halo`s defaults sounds with my custom sounds and it didnt work... the problem is on the compression by tool, not with sapien. Because sapien can play halo`s default sounds
