You can't play Yelo maps without open sauce. The two are made to work together.

Same as I said last topic: Quote: --- Original message by: kirby_422If its exceptioning, post the crash details here. If your getting some other kind of error, ask here and post it there as well. Whiles its exceptioning, leave it there and wait for the error reporting. Put the error report on OS' google code issues page. The developers of OS will work alongside you to figure out what is happening, etc.

That's like asking "How do I use a computer without electricity? I really want to use a computer." Man I wish that were possible, maybe then I wouldn't have to spend £50 on just a power supply for my new computer. -.- Anyway, sorry for going off topic. No, you can not use Yelo maps without OS. Halo doesn't have support for it. Of course, somebody could edit OS itself and clear out everything except that which registers Yelo maps, but I highly doubt anybody'd do that, and it'd probably cause a whole ton of issues. Like Kirby said, if you get crashes, it's quite simple to send an error report on the code.google site. ;)

Please read the note at the top of the section:
Section: Download Files YELO - Open Sauce Maps
NOTE: These Maps require the installation of Open Sauce, a third party add-in for the Halo Custom Edition game in order to run. These maps WILL NOT RUN with a standard install of the Halo CE game. You must download and install the Open Sauce application in order to run these maps.
These maps are offered as is and have not been tested by the Halo Maps website at this time. Use at your own risk.

Alright, let's take it serious for once, try doing the following. 1. Uninstall OpenSauce 2. Uninstall HaloCE 3. Restart PC 4. Download HaloCE from here5. Install HaloCE 6. Update HaloCE to v1.09 7. Download OpenSauce v3.0.38. Install OpenSauce v3.0.3 9. Run HaloCE, does it start? Edited by Sean Aero on Apr 21, 2012 at 09:43 AM

If you have XFire, turn it off when playing Halo, that's the most common cause of the exception.
