Is there a way to disable open sauce without uninstalling it? I want to be able to run sapien and xfire simultaneously.

Why not just use pidgin and log into all IM services? *shrug* Xfire works great in it. Anyways, the way opensauce detects xfire is through the file name. rename the executable to something like zfire.exe and OS wont notice it running (Make sure you disable xfire ingame at this point, or else have fun with your exceptions)

also useful to disable it if your game lags like crazy, it takes a bit more power to use it

Why not just update to OpenSauce 3.1?

It uses a dinput8.dll instead of d3d9.dll to attach itself, so now it's compatible with xfire

EDIT> Aww darn you suckered me into posting to a dead topic...

simply add -no_os_gfx to the end of the shortcut to revert to pure H1 graphics and performance.

Delete System 32.

I can't find it. Is it in the Home folder?

(Linux has no system32 :P. Unfortunately, I'm not actually on Linux atm but the joke still stands metaphorically :/)
