Not exactly a modeler here, but working on it I need to merge at a right triangle for these two polies. the bridge tool results in absolutely nothing happening. How would a make that right angle of selected polies into a triangular prism?

I'm not quite sure what the picture is. It seems to be two polies at a right angle. Bridge won't work if the "forward" face of the polygon is facing to the inside of the angle, because that would cause an error. Not all the "fronts" of the faces would be facing out. Two would be facing inwards, and then one outwards. ex: In max you can bind "backface cull toggle," which will show the backs of faces, to a key. Just go to customize -> customize user preferences, then search for backface cull toggle and bind it to anything. I bound mine to B. This might be your problem. E: I just checked this on my own and bridge should work even if the faces are facing in. The new face will just be created facing inwards as well. Perhaps one of your two faces is facing in and the other one is facing out. Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Mar 28, 2012 at 01:10 AM

I tried many different configs. The only thing i got is i flipped one face over and left the other there and i got one triangular side made, but i need the two trianglular sides and the bigger face, obviously. Its just flat out not working.

I would be able to explain this better to you over xfire or teamviewer. But delete those polys and create the ones you want.
