I want to mod custom edition classic maps so that there are 16 hogs. It's for a CE race tournament.

Is this possible, and if yes, how do i go about it?

Im pretty certain you can place down 16 hogs with sapien. If you mean16 different types of hogss, it is possible through scripting.

Thanks for replies, but that's not what I was looking for. I know how to make a new, modified version of an existing map.

I want to be able to modify the existing map file so that players don't have to download a new map file.

I did it once before with PC maps and SparkEdit, and was wondering if the same thing can be done with CE maps.

Probably possible if somebody developed a plugin with some kind of 'streaming' system, but not possible unless we get a decent coding developer working on it, who isn't apparently retiring soon.

go ingame on the default map as host, grab any devmode enabling app (skys the limits, alldev, etc), open the console, cheat_spawn_warthog. Do that until you have all the warthogs you need. This way, you dont actually alter the map, you just spawn some warthogs (does that cheat even work? im confused why was warthog singled out compared to any other vehicle..)

the newest version of sapp has some stuff from phasor, and it lets you spawn in hogs, (gunner seat) and lets you drive it in the gunner seat. it also lets you make a vehicle army which is funny. that may help ^
