basically i want to use a video for the main menu instead of a camera looking around a map, is this possible?

would there be a way to convert into something that you could use in the same way as i was thinking?

There's only 1 way to that, but maybe gonna take much work and time.

Creating animations, BSP's, shaders, and bitmaps. Maybe more than 2 weeks or A MONTH!

Do you know how much space that would take up for a bitmap? The map would crash.

considering 1 frame = about 500kb and 30 frames per second, do the math.

500*30= 15000 kb per second.
Usually the things are around 3 mins?
1 min = 15000*60 = 900000
3 min = 900000*3 = 2700000 kb.

Hey, looky here, 15 mb per second, and 900 mb per minute, not to mention that tool wont even compile anything this large.

and i looked around for this converter and found this

It's not going to happen at all. You cant compile it with tool, itll crash
