Yesterday, I was taking a coffee break from re-playing Halo Anniversary Edition. As I pondering the new aspects brought by the game, I had the most brilliant idea: create Halo Anniversary Edition in Halo CE! Now, one of the challenges this would bring is that the HAE engine adds many graphical updates to the engine. My friend is learning to write Visual Basic computer code and he says he can hack the game to support better graphics.

Now, as the leader of this project, I need assistance from the HCE community to help me in this endeavor. I am recruiting for the following positions:
-Modeler
-Animator
-Texturer
-Team coordinator
-Idea maker
-Shader maker
-Ripper

Now because such projects as TM Lumoria and CMT SPV3 are not going so smoothly, I was thinking the more valuable team members could come join me.

This improved campaign will feature:
-Improved sounds
-Improved graphics
-Improved vehicles
-Improved weapons
-Improved levels
-AA support
-Dual wielding
-Sprint
-Armor abilities
-Improved AI
-Vehicle boarding
-Much, much more

I understand that the scope of this project is rather modest, but that makes its success more likely. I hope to have it complete within a few months but I can't be certain.

Both Lumoria and SPv3 are going pretty smoothly judging by what they've shown.
But then again you are after all just a troll working for grunts :)

Yesterday, I was taking a coffee break from re-playing Halo Anniversary Edition. Now, as the leader of this project, I need assistance from the HCE community to help me in this endeavor. I am recruiting for the following positions:
-Modeler
-Animator
-Texturer
-Team coordinator
-Idea maker
-Shader maker
TWO-Ripper

THREENow because such projects as TM Lumoria and CMT SPV3 are not going so smoothly, I was thinking the more valuable team members could come join me.

This improved campaign will feature:
-Improved sounds
-Improved graphics
-Improved vehicles
-Improved weapons
-Improved levels
-AA support
FOUR-Dual wielding
-Sprint
-Armor abilities
-Improved AI
FOUR-Vehicle boarding
-Much, much more

I understand that the scope of this project is rather modest, but that makes its success more likely. I hope to have it complete within a few months but I can't be certain.

1. The difference between saying something, and showing something, is that when you show something, people will believe you. For the moment I'm going to have to take it as a lie.

2. A RIPPER? You're just trolling that right?

3. I'm not even going to do anything. If you've seen their threads they have countless examples of a smooth train headed for destination right on schedule. (Well, CMT more than TM, but TM is working harder BSP and gameplay-wise, while CMT is working on their tagset and effects.)

4. I'm not sure vehicle boarding is possible in the regular engine without Open Sauce. Unless you're going to use the Open Sauce that is released with CMT's SPV3, which makes you just riding along in their wave. And HOW are you exactly going to achieve dual wielding? Open Sauce? In which case you would be riding along with CMT's wave as stated before.

5. I'll be honest. I laughed. There's no way you can do this. Unless you can prove me wrong.

All in all, I think you're trolling. I'm not TRYING to make this a failure. I hope you succeed. I'm just stating my opinion. K thx bai.

Whether it's a troll or not, you should give unbiased opinions on the MOD, not the person.

But yes, as others have said, this mod is near impossible. If you put a LOT of work into it, times that few months by about 20, it could happen, maybe. But others have tried projects like this before and they have failed.

Graphics updates are of course possible with both minor ini edits and large projects like OpenSauce, however other things on your list have been defined as impossible multiple times. They are still possible with work, but they have never been achieved before.

So I'm afraid if you want to pull this off, it will require at least a few years of work. I suggest you shorten the scope a little. ;)

There is absolutely no trolling here. I'm sorry that my initial post was not adequate. However, with your help, we can make this mod possible. I'm hoping to recruit some modellers who can program better anti-aliasing.

Anti-aliasing is done by the graphic card. You can't have models handle the anti-aliasing.

E: Actual beat me to it.

@Deathkillspro: You might want to do some research on these things before saying stuff like this.
And as far as I am concerned, wouldn't hacking the game get you jailed?

As others have said, anti-aliasing is a shader pass and is run through the GPU using complex coding. This coding should be written within the game engine(But isn't because Halo's old) and we don't have access to the source code yet. You can't just 'put' anti-aliasing into models.

Also, like I said, your mission is near impossible. You would need a VERY large team and even then it could take years to complete the mod. I suggest you shorten the scope and learn to do the majority of tasks yourself before asking for a team again.

SPV3 has a different target and a shorter scope.
