I downloaded the ascension firefight map, but when I start the map, I just get a picture of the map, and it just stays there. Can anyone help?

It is probably a singleplayer map, you would load it up by using the console to type in: map_name map_name_here

@OrangeJuice: I know that, and I did that as well. I typed the name using the console and the map_name command, and I get a picture of the halo loading screen and then I get a picture of the map. The picture moves, cos the sky moves on the screen, but even if I leave it for a few minutes, it doesn't change from that.

Have you tried downloading the map again? If you haven't, download it again then do the same thing as OrangeJuice said.

Try using the gametype Slayer. If that doesn't work, either there is something wrong with your game or your map.

@YoGamerProductionz I tried that first thing, and the map loads but no enemies appear. |
