So i know in 3ds you can make a render of a model. i was wandering if it was possible to make a texture\shading render in Gmax, and if so how to go about doing it. Any advice\tips\instruction would be nice
Thanks in advance

If i remember right. you can place lighting and stuff and take a render, i mean i've never used it but that's the impression i had from what i had heard.

In 3ds max you can do quit a few things to a model/texture such as: specular, opacity, and self-illumination (none of which will transfer into halo). Gmax has some of the same abilities in its material editor. What Gmax does not have is any kind of rendering abilities.
