What is the largest ship or space station you have seen?

This includes Fiction by the way

I suppose the largest human ship I remember is the Spirit of Fire.(Phoenix-Class)
For the covenant I would have to say High Charity. It was technically a ship/station after all.

Either Human or covie.

And remember I said it would include fiction ship's as well.

I don't exactly consider the ring's as ships/stations but I guess I could go with that.

Rough guess at just how big?

Covenant CSO Class- Super Carrier.
According to halopedian.com It's a total length of 28.960 kilometers.


"At an estimated 27 km, the supercarrier is likely the largest starship ever in the Halo Universe. Much larger than any human ship seen thus far and larger than the Forerunner ships. The supercarrier is, however, smaller than Covenant space stations like High Charity and the Unyielding Hierophant."


High Charity, the station, is 348 Kilometers tall.

Forerunner Dreadnought/Keyship is 14 kilometers

ODA-142 Cairo is 1336 meters

The size of Anchor 9 is unknown as of now.

Holy crap that thing is HUGE. If it's that small compared to Halo, then imagine how big Halo must be... O_O

It's more or less close to Earth.

And the Ark (Installation 00) is roughly 127,530km in diameter - according to the Halo Wiki.

E: Apparantly the Ark is the second-largest Forerunner-built construct, dwarfed only by their Micro-Dyson Spheres, which - according to both the Halo wiki and Halo: Ghosts of Onyx - is an approximated 300 million kilometers in diameter.

I'm not sure if your asking for some of this stuff be to put in Halo because that would be ridiculous. These pictures are really old but they are worth showing to show the sheer size of covenant cruiser.





Not sure if these are exact the exact models, but nonetheless, the point still stands that it is insanely huge.

That was for the first array, the second array (some are seen in Halo 1,2 and 3) has a 10 000 km diameter.

And no my idea isn't gonna be in halo. I just wanted to have outdone something that's HUGE. That's what I do.

In real space the Dyson sphere's are only less then 1M in diameter.

uhh ONYX. or any shield world. its a planet. with a sun at its center. pretty sure thats bigger than installation 00. and its no planet (moon?) its a space station.

The Shield Worlds are not usually considered as Stations. They are simply artificial planetary constructs, and not any sort of space station.

I would... I consider the Rings and the Arks as stations. Heck, some bungie expert will probably say nahy, but I don't care. They just seem even more awesome. Y'know, having a ring shaped space station with its own environments on it. And the ring is a commonly used Space Station docking area/design, as it probably allows for a lot more docking space without as many materials.

Ark is best. You have to admit. It is WAY bigger than any Halo ring. Like, if a halo ring was hit by something as large as high charity at that speed, it would be ripped apart. The Ark didn't give a f**k. It's way too awesome for that. Seriously, imagine the size of that thing. A ring is liuke... a third of it. Or half. Dunno.

Anyway, for ship, humans, I would say Spirit of Fire.

Ship, covies, supercarrier, unyeilding hierophant(more of a ship than a station), maybe that the Ascendant Justice.

Stations, humies, ?? Perhaps the Cradle, or any of those repair ones.

earth is about 12000kms in diameter, so halo is a bit smaller

Well...yea, thats why its there. I dunno if its the biggest ship in just the fiction,. but definitely games.

Anybody know the biggest Human ship in fiction? Anything counts that is actually "proper". Don't just make a cube that's 50k times the size of the universe...

The UNSC Super Carrier, only a few were ever made.
The actual size is unknown, but they had 10 meters of titanium armour between them and vacuum.

Yet they were obliterated easily...

They should have followed the Halcyon's design...

For anybody that doesn't know, the Pillar of Autumn was a Halcyon class cruiser. One third of the tonnage of a marathon, it barely stood up to the name. It had a weak as heck hull, and it was far too expensive. They were upgraded in the human-covenant war to have limited battle capability.

However, the true genius of a Halcyon is the fact that it is THE most structurally strong ship ever known to be made by the UNSC. It featured bulkheads, and was honeycombed with titanium A. It was known to be operation when 99% of the hull was breached. So, like, every corridor is basically a vault, sometimes open, sometimes not.

I suspect it is a mobile repair staiton. I saw a pic like that, with a box thing like that, said it was a repair station or something.

I have always loved the Covenant Assault Carrier. It just looks so beautiful, in my opinion.
