Just wondering, is the User Interface of Halomaps ever going to be edited?

It is fully customizable, what more do you need.

That is what i was talking about.
I can change the colour scheme, layout, headers and the button design.
I have mine set to colour-teal, layout-Dennis(columns), headers-metalic and the button styles set to Dennis(plasma).

Yeah, no idea what you guys are talking about. It's easily edited.. mine is set to color-mango, layout-Dennis, and headers-fire.

I bet somebody's gonna spend days trying to find the edit button. lol

i have ghost rider riding his motorcycle across the halomaps banner. just as a small
change. i haven't went as far as some other guys have.
involves to much work. mine is just a giff i added, nothing special.

Yeah, not that I have a problem with the website layout, I was just wondering if it's ever going to be edited. But you guys say that you can already customize it... how do you do that?

Dennis left the white font only for the text over the "customize" toggle.
It is therefore very hard to find.

Just found it... changed the site to the same blue and white, but inverted, because light-on-dark text is easier to read (for me, anyway).
Except now the ads stand out a lot more...

CUSTOMIZABLE?

I was able to customize my Halomaps by inverting the colors on the screen.

*Cough*
But yes I have the fully Customizable Halomaps too. I have the nice blue quote boxes and a beautiful white background, with the adds placed to right so they aren't annoying.

Heck, I was even able to add a profanity filter! That way I don't accidentally say anything to nasty.

Oh cr*p! A typo! Oops It's a good thing the profanity filter caught that!

If I find time, I might draw up some concepts for a new style. If I do end up starting it, it'll probably take me ages though.

Once again it seems that style loses out over substance. I weep for the future. Sorry but the customize feature has been disabled.

Well it'd still be awesome if you at least added a simple modern style as an option. Not a full out update, just like a modern look. I'll upload my concept to show you what I mean when I'm finished. ;)

It's not that I'm not appreciative of halomaps, it's just that I was wondering if the interface was ever going to be touched up. If I were to request something, I would probably ask if you would ever be able to browse by page number. Let's say I want to see the maps on page 20, I wouldn't have to browse, 1...2...3...etc. until I get to 20 to find maps. (Probably should have said that at the beinning :P)

Although again, it's not that I'm not appreciative, the thing I love about this forum is that unlike Modacity, it's prettier and less-complicated.

Again, please note that this is still a wip and is NOT what anywhere near what it'll look like when finished. Also note that it's a concept so it doesn't really matter whether it looks amazing, it just needs to show an idea, although I will try to make it look as good as I can make it.

Anyway, if you still think it looks terrible, please tell me exactly what looks terrible and what changes I should make.

That zombie face is an ODST and the smoke is a grenade. It looks clearer in the full sized version.

Why bother posting when it won't look anything like the one you posted?

He's trying to make thin ice excuses as to why I'm wrong and his ui is actually amazing.

Because I wanted people to give opinions so that I can make changes early on because the early stage is vital. ;)

I just explained myself to him and he decided it'd be appropriate to say that I think my UI is amazing when I JUST EXPLAINED WHY I DON'T CARE IF MY UI'S AMAZING OR NOT. IT'S A CONCEPT.
