Has anyone made a spartan with marine animations?

I'm pretty sure I've ran across one, can't remember.

Why do you need this? Besides, it would only force-resize the biped to be too small, unless of course you're talking about a Spartan 3 (in SPI armor) with marine animations, which I do happen to have.

size doesn't matter, and I don't care which kind and by any chance are you going to release the tags? for the SPI? with marine animations?

Ah, I suppose. If it'll start helping people use the correctly-sized Spartan 3 instead, then sure. I'll post them here soon, at the moment I just realized that the markers are sitting too far from his feet so going to bump it a couple hundredths of a coordinate to fix that...

I just realized we never got around to making collision geometry for it... so if you're willing to wait then we probably will get to it soon.

Hmm. That idea makes me...... **Gags**

Epic spartan + Having a hard time moving around in battle = getting epically owned by a wraith.

Epic spartan + evade + pointing at things + flailing arms in panic when infected + waving + ability to salute + ability to lower weapon and walk casually = profit!!!

Getting killed by Wraiths doesn't really have anything to do with the animations.

They already have the ability to lower the weapon and walk casually as I showed in some video of mine; adding roll/dive animations would be easy, and the "ability" to point is just a time-waster for an efficient killing machine. But besides that, I'm not sure what people aren't understanding about animations scale models up or down if the model wasn't made specifically for those animations. He would be tiny if he used marine animations (anyone who says they don't care if a Spartan 2 is the size of a normal person will die).

Ah, but the SIIs were deployed around the age of 14, right? A young super soldier might be around the same size as a standard Marine.

That may be true, however if you've ever made a Spartan 2 biped which uses marine animations (which I have) and seen it scaled, you can see that the arms/legs/head all shrink while the torso remains roughly the same, creating quite an embarrassing spectacle.

I feel that video games should be made to represent the stories they're based on as realistically as possible with the original story as a reference. Bungie's story has Spartan 2s at around 1.5 times the size of an average man.

I know, I'm not talking about the books necessarily. I just mean the story they wrote to go behind Halo before/during construction of the game.
