In conclusion, you both acted like idiots on a Gaming Forum. Nobody got served. Stop acting like children, and work out your problems like normal civil people, I'm sure your capable.
I hope you lock this, Dennis Edited by NEOLightJak on Jul 13, 2011 at 05:06 PM @Petera. Someones age or voice is no reason to judge them. And hey, you think youre so cool for beatin on a 13 year old kid whos voice is still not changed? Yeah, You're cool. I judged your personality and used your age to back up that. And guess what? Yes! I beat you, you're an ass, I'm happy. That's how I roll. Back on topic, what do you think of my valid crit? EDIT: Just a pointer here, yes, this is the internet. There are trolls on every forum. Now, while being provoked by trolling may put me in the wrong, it doesn't make my factually orientated statements earlier wrong. Edited by Petera275 on Jul 13, 2011 at 05:30 PM

I'm inclined to agree with this. Calling someone out for something they really have no control over, ie being 13 is pretty illogical. However, your is pretty reminiscent of the stereotype of 13 year old kids, and that's not a good thing in your favor. Also, lying isn't helping either, at 13 you are most definitely not majoring in ANYTHING in school. Also also the, "I could do it but I am too lazy to do it" is completely ludicrous, if your grammar isn't perfect fine, but make an effort to use what you know to improve your posts, and save everyone reading them from wanting to slit their wrists in irritation over how badly you communicate what you're saying.

http://is239.schoolwires.com/site/default.aspx?PageID=1To get in you need to take a test on the subject you are going to be focusing one. Mine is Creative Writing. I'm also pretty sure the stereotypical 13 year old doesn't spend most of his time on the computer using 3dsmax and CryEngine 3 :P @Petera. Final Conclusion. You didnt win. Either way you wouldnt. I'm going to take a leaf out of Dennis' book here:
TAKE IT TO PM'S!
Aaaaand...
Back on topic!
Referring back to my other posts, the lag was an issue (hopefully you guys get it sorted out by CE3 2012), the ads were a pain for anyone not using AdBlocker and there were some technical difficulties (again, I had NO idea that my mic was cutting out on you guys or if it was the recording doing so).
Also, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but several guest speakers were popping out of the CE3 backdrop instead of the usual entrances by the sides of the stages. IMO, I think that MD just got lazy approaching the end :P Edited by UBE Chief on Jul 13, 2011 at 07:52 PM

Internet Explorer 5 (or watevs)=/=lag free show. Use firefox 4 or chrome or safari.

MD did state that there was some lag in the beginning of the stream, and it wasn't our faults. It had something to do with their streaming host, if I remember correctly.

There was lag right before the countdown and then a somewhat during the introduction. There was pretty much hardly any other lag throughout the show. Those who were shouting "I got 1 fps" in the chat, I had a steady at least 25. The show was streamed at 30.
I am also having problems with youtube, Ive uploaded twice but can't seem to actually get the video to appear. Ive always had this problem and have never tried a video so big (1.6gb) so I'll probably get someone else to upload it for me on the CE3 channel.

You didnt win. Either way you wouldnt. Its like a guy fighting a really douche-like girl. If he insults her, it's just the same as with a guy, seeing as he is not a sexist like Spartan 279. Also, Petera275 is a nice person, and would never hurt a girl physically unless they were a COMPLETE douche. If he loses, then hey, the girl loses her sexual orientation and becomes "manly". In this case. If I out-trolled you, I won the douche of the year award, but still lost. Morally. I spent hours trying to make someone older than me, feel sad because I think they're not as good as me, and being young makes me vulnerable and innocent, so nothing is my fault. If you won, you deserved the right to quote Charlie Sheen. -enthusiastic clapping- Duh, winning.

If you seriously think you can lump everything that makes someone intelligent into one number you're far more naive than you seem to think.
They don't claim to be either, its a common misconception to think that IQ measure intelligence. In reality it measures mental capacity and the ability to process multiple concepts at the same time. However IQ does contribute to the term "intelligence" because the ability to fit more into your brain and to have multiple processes going at once are an essential part of logical thinking.

Hence, I wish to point out such, that 279 has led me to respect him multiple times, and I have helped him out, only for him to spit on me. Therefore, I suggest that, while my actions may be wrong, my intentions are not, and that you should reevaluate your judgement of this pathetic kid who, I am sorry to say, has very poor skill in not only animation, but in respect, literature, negotiation and maturity.

Hmm? I cant seem to remember where i said I was superior, only saying that your team was disorganized. And hey, if you're so great at animating, why haven't we seen your master pieces. Chill, I've got 3 1/2 months, I'm not supposed to be as great teh_lag. And helped me out HOW exactly?
And I have respect, just none for you, and I can negotiate, but you're obviously not willing.
Like I said, Creative Writing talent, Mark Twain IS239 (supposedly the past public middle school in NYC) with a 94 average in that class, you should think again.

See? That's people's downfall. Not bothered to read = not full information = ignorance = misled assumptions. Also, I love Mensa. They've not been as good recently. There was this one challenge I saw that was dead easy: I am one word, which generally contains one letter. I am not the letter "a". What am I?
Edit: Has anybody done a UKMT maths challenge before? They're quite amusing. Edited by Petera275 on Jul 17, 2011 at 02:13 PM

I totally agree. Smart people are either stuck-up jerks or quite inmature. I happen to be one of the inmature ones, I'm afraid. Phsychological analysis that can explain this - basically, the stuck-up jerks are the ones always looking ahead. When they look to their past, it is very empty, and therefore they have a coldness which they take out on those around them. The inmature ones are the ones who look behind, and see that they may have lost their childhood to academics, and so decide to live in the present, for the present, acting as a child. After all, truly, we are only ever free when we are babies. Ignorance is bliss. Knowledge can be a burden to bear, and that burden becomes heavier when you have responsibilities.
