When they look to their past, it is very empty, and therefore they have a coldness which they take out on those around them. The inmature ones are the ones who look behind, and see that they may have lost their childhood to academics, and so decide to live in the present, for the present, acting as a child. After all, truly, we are only ever free when we are babies. Ignorance is bliss. Knowledge can be a burden to bear, and that burden becomes heavier when you have responsibilities.
