It just refuses to export the file. It doesn't crash or anything, it works entirely normally, but it just does not create the .jms file.

any ideas?

Thanks guys, but unning max as admin didn't work, and neither of those folders existed on my computer. I tried the take ownership thing, and that didn't work either.

Uhh so basically, I just exported a different level and it worked fine. I suspect the problem is just limited to one level. I had a similar problem when exporting the level where max would just crash when the export was done. I fixed that problem by renaming the max scene, but renaming doesn't seem to be helping in this case.

Yeah, it worked fine for me too, it's just that it all of a sudden decided to quit. Also you can hit ctrl alt del and find the dwm process and end it, then it will let you run it with the standard aero theme

Well, if I export with bluestreak and check in windows explorer, it shows that it isn't there, but if I go to export with bluestreak again, the bluestreak windows shows a new .jms file created today, at 3:26 pm.

No results found. I can see it when I go to export another file in bluestreak, but not in windows explorer. The folder is empty if I open the directory where the jms should be.

Thanks L28, <3
:D

apparently it was the waterfall geometry, because the level exports fine without them o.O

E2: it was the fact that I forgot to convert my waterfall back to editable poly after I applied the unwrap UVW modifier. Once I got rid of the unwrap modifier, it exported fine
