ok ive been working on the Halo Custom Edition to get it to work on single play and i cant get it to work. im asking can someone make a torrent and a download so it will be easy for me and other ppl can play Halo Custom Edition for single player plz. im asking for some one with the Halo Custom Edition working for single play to make it is it can be downloaded

Wait so, do HAVE the game but the maps won't work or do you NEED the game?

IF you do have the game, here's how to play single player maps with console

(I can't be bothered showing UI method)

1. Create a shortcut of the game on your desktop, if you already have one, skip this step.

2. Right click the shortcut and select properties.

3. The window that comes up should already be on the tab 'Shortcut.' In the 'Target' box add -console to the end, so it should look something like this:

"C:\Wherever you installed it to\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console

4. Click OK or apply, and if you don't want fullscreen mode, add -window to the end.

----Loading SP maps with console----

1. At the main menu, hit the tilde (`) key, which is the key on the left of 1 and right above TAB.

2. Type in map_name name of map here | So if you were to load up The 2nd mission of the Halo campaign, do this:

map_name a30

User-created maps are different; their names are just the title of whatever you downloaded unless otherwise stated.

Although now I have a legitimate copy of Halo PC and Halo 2 Vista, for a long time I just had the version from this site, and I used one of those youtube CD keys. I couldn't play online, but that's what happens when you pirate. Eventually I found a neat version that played online, now I realize that it is a cracked v1.00. i was quite satisfied with that, except that i couldn't play over LAN. I had recently started modding and had been modding for about 1 month when I decided that if I am so interested in modding, I might as well have a legitimate copy of the game and I wanted to support Bungie. So then I finally was able to get my mom to drive me to Best Buy to buy Halo PC for 20 bucks. And I'm sooooooo happy I did. And it feels good to support my favorite game studio in the universe and their enduring game: Halo Combat Evolved.

lol. Yesterday when I went to Best Buy I saw Halo Combat Evolved, and i was ROFLAMOing cause I didn't expect to find such an old game there it was funny.

Man, you are so funny, of course the game is there. Halo is the top FPS. Why wouldn't they be still selling it? Why were you laughing?
