I have, thanks for reviving this, I've been meaning to post for a while. Here is a small video that will show you one of the small things I've done recently. Read the description for a full explanation. Opinions on it are appreciated.

Also, menu is finished. I'll edit this post soon with a video of that.

Lastly, I've got a request of anyone who's willing: the SPI biped (Spartan 3) is what I'm hoping to use as, well, the Spartan 3s of the UNSC: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4889 My problem is this - the goal of my campaign is to be as Halo-realistic as possible, and the SPI biped that I linked to is too large (they're the size of Spartan 2s, Spartan 3s were the size of normal humans). I would greatly appreciate the favor if someone were able to scale the model down for me, and get it to use marine animations. You would be credited, of course.

He's referring to the build yet to be released.

As for the old version that a few people played before it was removed, well that no longer holds relevance to this project. A proof of concept, maybe, that free-roam campaign style was possible with HEK, but I'd already done that with Hollywood Knights.

It's not just that, I just can't focus in general so whenever I sit down to do some part of it, less ends up getting done than hoped for :L

Yes, the turning animations for a given unit (stand rifle, stand pistol, alert rifle, alert unarmed, etc.) are referenced in the same block as the move-front (walk or run forward) animation in the animation tag.

Anyone can do it. It isn't hard. I even made a version awhile back. Not exactly the same concept but close.

I'll submit the trailer with commentary to CE3. Forgot to mention before, someone has helped me with scaling the Spartan 3 biped down, so that is no longer needed.

Those were all armored marines, the regular marines (which appear frequently now) are killed in a sniper shot or about 7 AR shots. I'm providing a balance between the two types.

Yeah, he went on with a more realistic armor, rather than a peice of thin metal that bullets go through. As he said it should be balanced in the final build. There should probably be some custom weapon skins, I've got a few but maybe You want original weapons to keep it intact with Halo CE.

Yes. I need opinions on the time of day element that we are adding. It will obviously be used to determine whether it is day or night, but there are several ambiguities through which to work. For example, if you happen to simply be wandering around an area when the clock strikes 7, should night simply befall you then and there? The alternative is for the clock to only be checked for night and day when you travel to another location, to thus determine whether you arrive at night or in the daytime. Both of these seem equally plausible and interesting, so please give your opinions.

A story change has been made, or rather a detail added, since nothing had been said pertaining to this as of yet. The story takes place 21 years after the start of the Spartan 2 program, and you are one of the very first being deployed. The entire campaign is set on the world of Tyer (pronounced "teer") which has been notorious for both rebel and smuggling activity as of late.
