Not really positive how to do this, but extract the fp arms from cmt's v2 maps and take a look at them, see how they meet up with the biped.

describe the effect better.
is it
like an overshiled thing?
or like plasma flowing or pulsing on the actual model?

He's going for the shield_hit effect to translate to the fp arms; At least from what I understand.

Sounds like in Halo 2.
