Yes, and he hasn't got any copyrights on his map. It's not actually legal for him to put copyrights on his map, as all maps posted on this site are property of halomaps. So yeah, not much point trying to complain. Yes, honour should step in, but there's no such thing as honour in the gaming world. The gaming world at the moment is just a bunch of idiots who have no clue at all about what their games are made of, and keep making stupid videos complaining about games constantly(Need I provide examples?). So yeah, ignore it, and move on.

Just as OpsY approved to let you release this, then there is no problem. I'm sure some BG modder will find this useful.

I'm sure they will just stick with Blood Gulch. Other popular maps that are open don't have craploads of terrible mods.

Now, let's get this across the table.

you shouldve at least asked Opsy first before you released his opened map. alot of people dont like modders messing with their maps. thats why most of em are protected.

This article shown here, are the leak rules, Correct?

We upload our maps to this trusted source we call "Halomaps". But is it trusted?

This section here indicates it will not remove a map without a court order.

Now my question is, Why is the application "Eternial light" on halomaps? Eternial light allows you to rip peoples work, as this impersonator of me did, and renamed all the files and framed me for it. and i didnt do crap! If we can trust our work to this source, then why cant you delete that application? All that does is make me more aware to where i place my work.

My point is, This is a trusted source. I've been using it, and i have a problem with this application. This application can cause trouble. You said "If you don't want your map put into the public then you should not give it to people until it is done or at the very minimum be more selective in the people to whom you do." Now what if some a**hat takes the application, and the map Someone released, and unprotected it? (like here) We didnt do it, so why should we be punished? That's completely unfair.

That map Twisted metal is a POS and I was really pissed off too see myself getting somehow involved in that drama bull crap. People keep pretending to be me on xfire and its starting to get to me >.<
