Cool i was gonna ask if the grav lift was just a device but now that u mention it I was like oooh ok
Any ways I'm not that good at scripting so I wouldn't know how to script 1.
Any way u no in game or in cutscenes how the ai talk and say stuff in a specific order? How would I make ai do that in my next sp?
It would be cool if I did that :D lol Ill make it an epic sp :P

I told you

(player_add_equipment <unit> <starting profile> 1)
This code resets the player's equipment to the specified starting profile.

Which map is that Gravity Platform from? I can rip it myself if you tell me which map.

I want it for an updated version of H2MT Sandtrap V4 (for H2V) we may do, thankx.

it does,but as you can see from the real grav lift it's ment to be a bit darker with purple parts.
that image is just the way it is in the h3 space_gulch map.
take the model into max/gmax and re-texture it just.

now i get to shout new page!!111!!!! :)

A good idea miscl3r that we make a sereies of sp levels. Our own little campaign. We could make like our own sky own models an all maybe even scenery. The leader of my clan works at bungie so I could ask him for some tags :D

mastur cheef hire me if you got xfire i got both gmax and 3ds max 8 and photoshop cs4 but im really crap in 3ds max only just got it and just getting used to it, im quite good with gmax and for photoshop i have no idea thought i would come in handy :D

but alright my project is a fully custom bsp firefight with a complete final H3:ODST tagset.
I wanted this to be a big release/surprise because we barely are making progress..

As for the UI it will be the same BSP.

Got my lives script kinda working but when you spawn back at the start:

1. You have three weapons

2. You cant move

2 is fixed by typing player_enable_input true into dev mode but i don't know what is up with number 1

Script:

(global short lives 9)


(script continuous lives
(set cheat_deathless_player true)
(sleep_until (<= (unit_get_health (unit (list_get (players) 0))) 0.01) 1)
(player_enable_input 0)
(fade_out 1 1 1 15)
(sleep 30)
(player_add_equipment (unit (list_get (players) 0)) loadout1 true)
(set lives (- lives 1))
(object_cannot_take_damage (players))
(object_teleport (unit (list_get (players) 0)) start)
(fade_in 1 1 1 30)
(player_enable_input 1)
(sleep 180)
(object_can_take_damage (players))
)



(script continuous gameover

Edit: May have fixed number 2. I had player_camera_control instead of enable_input

Will test tomorrow.




Still need to know how to get rid of all the players guns

I started working on a basic bsp in gmax today. Looks pretty bad with a bg bitmap cos the cliffs didnt work out, but oh well. Tis a very basic map desgined for hog battles. Up to something to do with using chimp.exe I wanna get it done tomorrow
