Well, he's only doing some scripting. He can do basic stuff, I'll try and do manual stuff. Unless anyone else volunteers. MooseGuy? You've been here for 2 years... you say this will fail, why don't you make sure it doesn't? On the other hand, you will have to eat your shoe, fridge, oven and stove if this succeeds...

I would help out if I wasn't enveloped in my own projects and a heap of life stuff, and if this project was set on a smaller and more original scope. But I just don't have the time.

I am loving all of these ideas of what you will do if I win. I soo want this to succeed right now. When you do all of the stupid things, please make a YouTube video of you getting arrested/dying of overnourishment.

Also MooseGuy thanks for your consideration, sorry to hear you're busy, I would love to see how your projects are going along. Better than this, I guess?

Hopefully its own game with a different ui etc. using ce

By uploading a series of custom maps on this site and megaupload.com. For my friends I will also be releasing discs with everything on them, but will not send discs to anyone outside my county.

Sadly, no. By the end of the Christmas holidays I hopefully should have at least one MP/SP/Firefight map ready though, so be ready for a surprise next year...I hope...

And to Petera, learning scripting is reccomended. The learning curve is steep at first, but then becomes a breeze once you get the basic structure down, and you have a handy copy of the Halo Scriping Bible (Google it). Good luck!

Truth be told, I have a collection of tags and 3D models, some I made, some I didn't. Nothing is in game, but will be by next year. I hope. If I can script by then.

Looking at this topic, I think Sciophobiaranger started the argument by saying false stuff about world history/politics. But now it's going to turn into a debate on whether you should ignore someone who 'is wrong'.

I'm acting mature, I'm just highly skeptical that this will ever work out without smart choices.

I understand that but i believe this could happen. The people helping with it most likely will quit before its release, but at least i know they could get something useful done.

This is debatable and totally dependent on staying on topic. The same also applies to the others who drifted as well.
