I have the VERY basic [might can a lot] design of the map. It will be simple enough but not as simple as this. What are some ideas for the map? [Open to all users for opinion though I would like for my team to pm me opinions]

Urban. it will be a urban map but more like a map for vehicular violence. i think it will serve great as a map that you would use vehicles to battle on.

What are mountains doing in an urban area?
Looks pretty simple, not smoothed at all, and a lot of wasted polygons on the cliffs and the outside boundaries of the map. Seems like there is little to no thought given to gameplay at all. I don't even see anything that could be considered a spawn area or a base. Doesn't look like it's set up for any gametypes except Slayer, but barely even that. The entire playing area is just one giant plane with a few soft selection hills added in an attempt to break up the flatness.
To be quite honest I would just start over. But watch some tutorials first.
E: Sorry if this sounds harsh, but there's not really another way to say this :S

I like it. Person mounter weapons most likely will get a little more power so you have a better chance at killing a banshee. I actually want to use different vehicles then the standard halo vehicles. Maybe the needle ghost and the sky hawk.

I will this might get changed a lot. This is mainly going to be the test for new tags if this doesn't work out. I'm getting some modeling help from some of the dev team anyway.

Okay! I just got word that we will be 'borrowing' CMT's snowgrove tagset. Now before flames go everywhere, we still plan on making our own tagset in the future. However until we get in contact with the other members of the team, and figure out who's making what, we will use CMT's snowgrove tagset unless otherwise specified.

Can everybody CALM DOWN! Might I remind everyone that this is the NEXT GENERATION mapping team. We are all very new to this, so please be patient. There is not much work shown because we are still in the process of creating it. The reason there is so many threads is an accident. Also to clarify THERE IS NO LINK. This map is still in it's early stages of development so thus it would be silly to give you a map that is still a max file. We will post more progress on this tread as soon as we are ready. HOWEVER pleased be warned that since, we are all new to mapping, do not expect anything spectacular. Let me put it this way, we are NOT CMT we will release our maps, but the quality will be much lower.

This is my idea, two of the skyscrapers could be the red and blue base! I think that would be cool. As for buildings, a couple. I think 3-5 would be a good number. I think the buildings should be randomly spread out in the map, with tunnels underneath.

These are just ideas I would have to run it by the leader first

I think DarkAvengerX can UVW map, not sure.

I'm trying to rush you or anything of that sort. I'm just wondering how the progress on the Lossless BSP is coming. I have extracted the CMT Snowgrove tags, my tagset is complete and am excited to get populating!

I will not "swoops down and ends up having the final product". First off, the second I finish populating I will send the map off to the rest of the team. From there the team leader releases it. Second I will have to ask the team leader about Wrath and who is making the BSP. I'm only the Co-Leader, I cannot do anything without permission from the leader himself. So I cannot go around assigning people roles and determine who is doing the BSP modeling. I just wanted to know the progress of the BSP itself.

Also so what if I'm the first one with the final product? Dennis once said:

Hmmm? Why did we show you? As a new generation of mapping we want to to be able to actively create a map that the whole community will enjoy. That mean people are included in every step of the way.
