today marks another glorious checkpoint in this maps progress. thanks to the help of shade117 pro and the encoruagement of dwood, i have fixed the scripts, they were causing the firefight not to function properly, and now its done. firefight is now officially 75 percent complete. more updates to come, keep an eye on this topic for the release date and trailer

both of you guesses are close, but wrong
the way it will work is it starts easy, then for 10 rounds, it will get harded and harder, then after round 10, it goes back to round 1 and continues infinitely until the player dies, after he dies, there will be a ending cutscene where screen fades to black and it gives you a rating based on how many rounds you defeated.
5 and lower is noob 6-10 is average 11-15 is adept 16-20 is pro and if you ever manage to get above 30 is legendary and 50 and anything higher is mythic
for weapons, every 5 rounds you complete, there will be a weapon drop that respawns all weapons and ammo, and adds two lives to your counter, all weapons and ammo are already on the map, to use them, you have to find them. the best guns are conceiled, while the weaker guns are in plain sight. i thought of the idea to respawn not just ammo, but guns, because when you die, and respawn, the weapons you were holding are deleted. Nice! So I assume only human weapons spawn. And that you can't pick up enemy weapons, or can you? For instance in firefight-portent the weapon a grunt was holding would disappear once you killed him. But in all the other firefights you could pick up their weapons. Is this going to be a feature in this firefight?

AI need to seek the player out ALL THE TIME. Grunts hiding from you and preventing you from progressing is bad. Searching for them until they make a squeal is worse enough.
