Halo is an overrated piece of garbage, so why do you play it. The game is very generic and its been rehashed 3 times. It brings nothing new to the table, so explain yourselves.

I play Halo because it is Halo.

I play because it is the most customizable and fun and non-confining engine that there is, and it plays just as well (don't mention Far Cry, it is not as playable as it is mappable).

Even though the game is a decade old (7 years on pc), it is still damn fun, and the quality of the content is surpassed only by full game mods (CS).

The community here is top-notch as well.

Don't think I'm trying to say that I can't play other games, I can play any
Shooter games just as good. I play other games too, people have their likes and dislikes.
Just because you play Halo or CoD doesn't mean your a fan-boy.
Hell I just happened to play Halo because it's fun and the community is filled with interesting people, unlike some sh** DoTa community site that's filled with sarcastic
p***** and a*******. CoD communities are cool too, but it doesn't quite feel natural for me.
The Halo Community in all it's glory is my 3rd home(because I have 2 homes.)
It's like a safe haven for me. It's all cool here and people bring out new and interesting things everytime(well not exactly "everytime" but you get the point.).
Halo is a great game and has a great community.
This is the main reason why I play it.

I play a spectrum of games, and yes, I do play all day. But i'm not a no life loser. I'm not becuase I don't suck at it.

Halo is just a thing that I will always carry in my backpack over Call of Duty or Metal Gear.

Let me rephrase that. I don't suck as much at life as someone who plays a SINGLE game all day, and compareably sucks at it.

I play halo because, to me, it's fun and that i like halo... besides the fact that people pirated the game or use bots when i play on some servers... but yea... god i hate them >.> keep on killing me out of no where...

Doom pioneered the PC FPS industry. I can't be so sure for consoles.

I spy a troll. We play it because its fun.nuff said. The game is outdated yes but it is in my opinion more worthwhile modding than say ut3. Cod is boring. I am bored of that game. Got it in mArch. Dam you onotix.. I like the community here, its entertaining with drama. Halo is my favorite game and will be. And are you kidding about brining stuff to the table? Cod is the same camp spawn kill crap ever since after cod 2. Cod 2 was my favorite. Troll more now? Go ahead and defend your ps3/cod gayfare 2.
