i think some of the textures look a little too cartoonish, if it won't hurt the poly count too much i think the details should be real not just baked into the textures, also you might find that if you experiment with the normals a little bit you might be able to get the textures looking more real.

Update from a bit ago said that poly count was an issue. I assume that is why some are baked into the textures. I don't think they can make it have more of a poly count.

does halo ce support displace? (its something like i normal) i saw something about it a while back, it seems like a good idea, that is, if i understand it correctly
