Here, finish it your selves.

What you need to do:
- Fix the errors.
- Make low poly
- Add remaining details
- Bake

I'm sorry, I didn't notice this thread because well...I was playing games with my friends and then I had to eat dinner. Soon enough I went on a bike ride, came back home and walked my dog.

I appreciate your contribution. Well, not me personally, cause I hate the grenade launcher, but it's a nice model. A nice model of a horrible weapon.

Anyway, I'm sure the rest of the community is thrilled about this release

lol. I download your grenade launcher but I didn't comment because I hit cleaner that cleans all history. So after that I toke a shrower and login. I was going be really lazy and see look in 3ds but nooo! It won't because it said I'm missing Dlls. Then I was like aww screw it.

lol. I just read the readme. And it said it was version 2010. Upload a version for 9 and to version 5 please? I have version 9 with 32bits.

When it comes to models he's basically one of the best here. he also had a WIP in the Weapon WIP thread.

Oh please, don't judge a person's talent on how well they can copy someone else 1:1. Sure, he did that cool Halo shotgun, but the main gun was still of Bungie's design.

Reminds me of Hayabusa even, an FP animator who could only copy others. Obviously they weren't 1:1 because that's not so easy in the field of animation (compared to modeling), but his overall animations and everything were just Bungie's or even other animators here in the community such as Teh Lag.
He never got any better, he never did anything new. He was boring, just as Hunter has now become.


Though Hunter, if you (or anyone else) could somehow get this into a .3ds or .obj so I can open it in Max 8, I'd be happy to animate it and release the scenes for others to complete the full tagging of the weapon and hopefully release.

Because animating has nothing to do with the actual model you're using (OK so it kinda does), my expertise is in making things move and my work can't be judged based on the models I'm using, only the motions I've created.

Besides, id be wowkring my butt offf to make coool stuff for YOU guys so you can use it and stuffz!!!11!! that make me good person riiight?!!?!!?1`1!??

I'm not trying to 'get to you,' I'm simply stating my counter argument as to why I think the way I do. (...and not to play the veteran or act like I'm on the high horse, but I would say my logic and 3 years experience on these forums and the game itself give my opinions quite a bit more backing than yours do)

I do not want to 'bring this on,' seeing as it is 1 A.M. where I am, and I'm probably going to sleep soon.

Also I am not pissed off in any way, though your constant posting/badgering/acting moderator is starting to get on my nerves.

And finally, Dennis isn't going to ban me for stating my reasonable opinions in an orderly fashion either which pertains slightly (but still pertains) to the topic at hand.

Wow, I never thought ODX would stoop this low, devoting 3 or 4 completely off topic posts on a perfectly good thread simply as retorts to some random.

Oh well, he does present a good point in his first post. Hey Hunter, just a suggestion, I think it'd be cool if you applied more of your talent into original stuff rather than H3 copies. Of course, you probably already have some other stuff you're just not showing... :P

I myself try to make more original animations rather than going for copies

I'm no modeler, but I think it's like, "baking" the details onto a bitmap, then optimizing the model into a lower-poly version that the game engine could handle, with the hi-poly details remaining on the bitmap.

exporting to 3ds says over 64k on most of the objects, and obj doesent do all of them
