The reason why so mann people play halo is because the hero is unknown so you can be him. if the chief had a face you couldnt be that guy kicking ass in space and then the game wouldnt be as fun. Microsoft isnt thinking 7 steps ahead like they should be

That's probably one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. What are they going to do to make anyone (except the fanboys) want a copy after already reading the book? Stupid.

Anyone foresee a failure in proportion to Halo: Legends?

It's a good idea from a marketing stand point, since it is Halo based, and well, we all can get an idea of the fan base for it, but idea/story wise, no, it shouldn't be done. We all would like to see what the Master Chief looks like, but the moment they show his face it almost seems pointless. They will ruin the masked hero.

We already have the book, the comic is essentially an adaptation for people who'd rather look at pictures than words.

So what, it's exactly the same plot as the book.

I play johnson in odst though you can see his face and he still kicks ass, go figure.

like i said before it give u a better feeling that your chief. Kind of like what Valve di with Half life, the Reason why Gordon dosnt Talk is because you can talk for him so it makes the player feel more into the game.

Also just another little thing to even make you more mad about its release in comic strips. like the Article says Marvel has some rights to halo now. But remember previously this year who bought out Marvel? Disney. so ther fore if Marvel has some rights to Halo that means Disney has even more rights.

Y'all are way too down about anything put into the Halo market. It's all entertainment. With the exception of showing Master Chief's face as a kid, I think this will be another cool addition to the franchise market. It's not a matter of cashcow, but just enjoy the products they send out.
