Model looks promising, however Im not quite sure about the large glass dome. It does give a strong potential setting for the player's environment, but it is pretty much just imposed, and forerunner architecture doesn't have any formal language that really supports a dome of that type. Look at the firing control rooms in all of the halo games thus far for some more tasteful inspiration. Other than that I like were you are going with this keep it up.

theres an add-on you can download that renders, its not great, but its better than nothing.

there's also Gmax render suite, but I can't find a download for it that still works.

Once you get used to it, I say Gmax is better than 3ds2010. Why you ask? Because everything double-faces itself in 2010 (or at least when I used it) and although that can be useful, it's a waste and probably demands more of the rendering engine. However, I'm sure there is something you can do to fix this, I find Gmax to be very useful once you figure it out. I think for modeling, it's probably one of the best bets you'll have without breaking the law, if not THE best. Yet, for animating and UV Unwrapping (never tried unwrapping), it's definitely a task.

^ thats the problem. gmax its basically incompatible with 3ds max. gmax's native file format is (surprise surprise) .gmax, which 3dsmax does not support. the only way you can transfer models from gmax into max is by 3rd party .obj exporters, which rarely work without errors.

the only native compatibility between the two is the option to import .3ds into gmax.

Okay, I'll get it into sapien for some better pics. I wanna custom sky, though (not blue), so It won't look like the final lightwise.
The bungie HEH doesn't use this texture as the walls. I want to add batteries, balconies, and stuff to the walls, but I'll still have a better texture for them anyway. A brighter one.

EDIT: you guys want forecefield bridge or walk-bridges?
