Only smoothing problem I see is where the walls meet the snow ground. Looks pretty good to me.
...And I'm quite picky.
Would like to see it textured before I make a final decision, though. Edited by Alpha Series on May 10, 2010 at 11:04 PM

I'd like to experience it firsthand , so I can pass judgement. Looks nice , but the terrain is dull.

The terrain definitely isn't the worst. At least it isn't flat. I could see it ramping up to a hill in the middle that obscures the other side when on low ground... or possibly a ditch instead, causing the center ground to be a choke point.

It looks like you used turbosmooth or some other smoothing modifier, instead of using the smoothing system inside of editable mesh/poly. It really adds to the polygon count and looks pretty weird to me.

Meh. The only really significant terrain pieces are Bungie's models, the rest is just a big open plain, with soft selected hills. Also, just use regular smoothing groups instead of turbosmooth. It looks really bad and it makes your renders look like plastic.

I tend to look past the reflections =P The shininess won't exist when you use lightmaps, so...

Add a hill at the center of the map and maybe some cliffs that wrap around the rim to make the terrain more interesting. How big is the map?
