Concerning the player biped, I suggest you use the newly released H3r, ODST biped.

that was the ODST biped (if) I was going to uses ODSTs. Ill take a pole vote on which the community thinks on the player biped....

Use the Cyborg. The Flood would be annoying if it was only you fighting them, unless you have allies (and a few that never die). Also, think about Infection Forms and how annoying they would be.

If the player was an ODST; i would make it so, only your allies can be attached by the infection forms, have a damage animation play etc.. So it would be like you playing as a cyborg, except the height, movement speed, jump height etc. & it would include a new HUD if i can get one. Unless someone can get me a custom HUD for the cyborgs. (& NOT A HALO3 REMAKE)

yeah I was going to probably do the decal. Even though I could make the menu, I kinda suck at it, plus it would take longer. & would delay the release time. (or at least proximate release time.)
& no i didnt want it to be COD styled.
Actually I might make it an ingame menu. Like I use a decal, once activated (via invisible control panel) it brings a black screen. (teleported player to infront of a black plane scenery peice) & just give the player a list via hud-message strings. & depending on player input, gives the desired option. :)

not story wise. I decided to make this, because one of my friends new that you could make custom maps via HCE, & he saw me playing nazi zombies, hence he suggested that I should make it on Halo Custom Edition. Even though he doesnt have it :| lol

That sounds just like a map i was going to make.
It was going to be quite big with a bunch of different stuff in it.
Basically you started out on 1 side with a couple of different starting equipment, and you would leave your base by either foot or by hog.
If you were on foot, you would have a gun in your hands and be looking for an enemy to kill at all times. Walking up the ramps toward the centre of the map is often where you would encounter heavy resistance. You would be all walking, then an enemy would jump out and start attacking you, you would be like , holy crap, and start shooting back at him, after the following t-bagging you continue toward the opposition base.
Success, you made it, now you pull out the rpg in the hope of catching the enemy in the sacred act of "spawning", but whats this ......NOOO dynamic lights on the cliff walls directly infront of you, that can only mean 1 thing. You spin around in an instant just in time to see the hog coming full bore right at you.
I was thinking of adding some forerunner structures and stuff.
Anyway, just made me think of that map that i thought of thinking about making one time before.

Like I suggested in another thread planning to use this same idea, you should use a marine biped for the player, as this would add a 'Trapped' effect. As marines aren't very clever and they wouldn't be able to find a way out. Master Chief or an ODST however are highly trained officers, and they would just jump into a vent or something.

@Garagorn: um well it has a pretty obvious escape route. The side ramps, but that's how the flood enter the game area. & all the other escape vents etc. are blocked by scenery pieces like, flood blobs, oxy tanks etc. ;)

Great. A firefight map with a pointsystem.
You should use a cyborg. ODST's die to fast when fighting the flood.

As for the player biped, as long as there aren't any infection forms or if they come in a very small number at rare times, you should use an ODST. Instead of infection forms, I think you should use "Flood Suicide" bipeds. Just use a Carrier form and don't make it spawn infection forms when it explodes.

@ ihalo fix the crouch with pistol anim..... i dont want no scared marine that cant move or cant go certain directions. also can throw a grenade far and walk at same time. also go up ladders

i could make it a series of different infestation maps. Like how nazi zombies was made on various maps. After I finish it on portent. I could make a custom BSP & make one on then. Then maybe on one of the campaign maps. ;) but not till I reach that stage...

with the only way possible. (That i know of): scripted variables. & ive got scenery placement done, alpha_encounters, but i still need to script the events in. So yeah, expect pics later today, or tomorrow. :)

im including all the classic weapons from the game. Plus a few new ones. Though I might remove the plasma_cannon. Since you already have enough weapons for taking out flood.
& I'm working on a custom bsp. Working at basic details on areas. Compiling & Testing, then moving to another area. I guess I'll use portent as my testing BSP, until the new one is completed.

anyways 1st footage of it.. Its only the BSP atm.. & its not completed. I want to at least get the model done, b4 the UVs.

ive combined Bungies BSP's into a another one. & i am making it, that you would have to buy the doors to the new rooms. The shaft at the start is an elevator shaft. Where the player starts at the top & works its way down. during the elevator, you are given a quick brief on the map & such. comments? critiques?

ah those. well i made the part for where the door was. (this is the one @ the generator room), after that i just selected the edges & pulled them out of the door outline... The elevator shaft, was just imported from b40, coz i couldnt think of any designs for them xD
