Use the Blitzkrieg off of this website.
And, place the DLL's in 1 at a time, since 1 or 2 might already be in there.
Also, I don't believe Blitzkrieg works for 64 bit.

You put the dlls in a different folder than the system 32 because it's 64 bit. I'm exactly sure what its called but yea. For 64 bit you dont put them in system 32 folder.

Still haven't figured it out,but w\e,I have installed 3ds max 8 and 3ds max 2010 on my main computer, my desktop, and I have done the same for my laptop,so it doesn't matter for now, because when I need to export a big high poly model,I can just use my laptop. So,thanks for all your help,if you do find a way for me to get it to work on 3ds max 8 windows 7 64 bit, please please message me post here.

Windows 7 is great, especial compared to vista *cringes* it actualy can run on 128 MBs of ram (virtual machines, ftw) 128 MBs is XPs labeled minimal requirements (although it actual runs on 32 MBs of ram) only real thing I have to complain about is those libraries.. I wish I could just have my favorates sidebar instead of all those others.. clutters the side to much. Anyways, try tossing the files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ My desktop sometimes gets more than half filled, and its at 1680x1050 when ive used tuneup utilities to reduce space between icons, so I sometimes have more than him (although space wise, his still seems more since it fills his whole screen)

I used to have more icons than the desktop could hold.. I'd have to go to the actual desktop folder to get them.

I dont know why you are using that. Its out of date. Use this one instead its a 3ds max script works every time inless you have something in your geometry wrong. Using it with max 9 and 2010 right now. http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3819

Blitzkrieg is so much faster at exporting. When I used the jms exporter it would take me up to atleast 5 minutes to export a map model and only a few seconds with blitzkrieg. There is definatly a benefit in having it.

Also, Bluestreak doesn't export animations. With Blitzkrieg, its all in one.

If your running 64bit anything. Then you just have to put the dll files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64!

I know this is a horribly late reply, but I just want it to be known that placing the DLL's in the above folder (C:\Windows\SysWOW64) DOES work for 64-Bit editions of Windows.

Make sure you are also using the newest blitz for 6-8. Those .dlls end with 71 instead of 70
