I believe 1.00 still has the most, because people with pirated games can still play 1.00.

To save me the bother of looking again myself, can someone tell me if 1.00,1.06 or whatever you want to call it is still just servers from home pc's all playing stock maps and giving a terrible ping (unless you are from Mexico)?

1.08 sucks because I went on it with the version changer and there were only 4-5 dedicated servers and 0 players

Great, its this thread again
Alright, 1.00= Original version; Has the most players and all apps work on it; It's comprised of people who prefer the benefits listed above, latin americans who don't speak english, and pirates, who don't understand how or are too stupid to update their halo. 1.01-1.08= Obsolete versions; opensauce works for 1.08; these servers are filled with dedi's that are practically unjoinable because the people who made them don't care anymore, which probably explains why they haven't updated. 1.09= Latest version; has some security fixes that people don't really care about; Being the latest version of halo most informed player have updated to this version.
