Now I was making my own laser sight, very different from CMT's. It was supposed to activate when you use the iron sights. Now it does, but it isn't where it's supposed to be. I made a red bitmap, of a small circle with gradient from red to black going outwards. Problem is, when I use the sights it's like a red light shining on the weapon and the FP hands. How to fix?

Umm... no. But couldn't I use one of the existing markers? Like the primary trigger marker?

You can't make a laser using a light weapon tag. It has to be geometry or else it wouldn't work correctly.
But I think that you can modify the laser shader so that it only appears when firing with the secondary trigger (iron sights). Edited by Advancebo on Feb 2, 2010 at 06:26 AM

Edited by Advancebo on Feb 2, 2010 at 06:26 AM It's attached to the iron sights' "projectile", which is, to say, an invisible projectile with a light attachment . And besides, if it's geometry, and in the FP view, it would still appear to extend even if you're standing right next to a wall, and facing it.
