Isn't that from one of your Chinese cartoons?

Being able to stick to cover has been one of the things I think Halo needs, mainly because it adds a bit of realism as well as playability
Would you make the wall a vehicle? I don't know... I wouldn't be able to do this, because I suck at scripting (IE: I cant) but would like to know if anyone could or would.

a) Scripting has nothing to do with sticking to cover.

Also, you weren't clear on what you meant by "sticking to cover", so I'll assume you meant that you would stay on the side of a wall, like in those ninja games. You could make the wall a vehicle, and give animations for weapons while on the wall. However, this would be a tedious task to create an entire level based upon vehicles.

He means like Gears of War if I'm not mistaken, where you can take cover behind most any object.

thats a stupid idea, he could just create an invisible vehicle instead and do the same. it could just be a simple plane thats invisible and then he could do that. they wouldn't need physics or anything.
It would almost be like how they did actually in gow, they used a marker that was infront of a wall or object, and then that marker was specific on what you could do there. attaching to the wall was built in though, and wasn't specific.

i think he means like how marines and elites can hide behind crates in Halo 2.
but why would you need to make this kind of thing? if you stick to a wall it's not gonna reduce your hitbox by any notacible amount, so i think it's not worth the effort.
Like in GoW 1/2?
