Okay, probably my last texture for a while. I liked the the way the dragon scale came out so much I decided to try for a futuristic variant. It didn't come out quite how I hoped. Anyways:

I think you should look at the anatomy of a hand before sculpting with that. Fingers dont work like that.

On a side note, it seems holanimator is not completely alone.

Youd think that out of all the complex and interconnecting parts the human body is made up of, hands would probably be the least hardest form to replicate.

After all at their base they can be described as nothing more then a lumpen mass with 5 extrusions. At least imao.

good start, fingers are pretty noodley but it at least resembles a hand. You are doing a good job paying attention of polygon flow too. I'm sure your next attempt will be improved. I recommend starting again, because you certainly have it in you to make something good. Perhaps next time try less polygons and focusing on the basic shapes that make up the hand? it takes a long time to make something decent, anyone who says anything else is covering their ass.

The animations are...not bad but they could be improved.

The pickup animation is a tad flamboyant for my taste, the wobble is particularly over dramatic.

In addition to that the reload empty animation in certain instances looks cramped and restrained particularly as the left hand pulls out the magazine.
(Animation isn't urgent enough)

And also when the op handle is pulled back. (elbow could be pushed out farther out to the left. L wrist rotates awkwardly)

Apart from that it looks good.

Will you be incorporating the vanilla textures too?

Generally speaking, CSS had pretty bad animations overall. They cut the FP arms off from the elbows, so trying to seek something that looks decent out of there requires something from the community over something from the game itself.

On the note of the actual porting however, good job I guess? I'm actually mildly impressed that you were able to get the animations ported, but I will say that you would be better off adjusting them significantly so that they don't look super wonky (and maybe lower the position in FP, considering how much of the screen the animations are taking up)
