I still don't understand why people insist on giving the Hornet banshee type controls... Banshees fall when you are not moving... Hornets don't.

It is logical to give Hornets Pelican type controls, seeming as they both move EXACTLY the same way apart from moving side to side. Who cares about moving side to side anyway...

Because Pelicans lose altitude whenever you turn because the pelican automatically aligns itself to point where ever the camera is pointing, and as with all vehicles in CE, you look down on the vehicle. So when you turn, or sometimes even when going straight, the pelican loses altitude.

tl;dr:
Can't be a pelican because it will lose altitude
Can't be a ghost because ghosts cant fly
Can't be a banshee because banshee's can't strafe and fall when you're not moving

You can set the vehicle type as "alien scout", so that it strafes like a ghost.

But the ghost can't fly. You could increase the height of the anti grav, yeah, but it won't be able to go up or down then.

You just tap the control bar to go up a bit when it loses altitude. Personal choice tbh. I would chose pelican type controls...

hey guys, guess what?

1. You can't attach a vehicle to another vehicle and get in the attached vehicle

2. You can't replicate an H3 Hornet's control system but it was a worthless unbalanced vehicle anyways so why bother

3. Why does everyone like H3 remakes? I can see the logic in a few, but remaking something like the banshee, pistol, or plasma pistol just seems sort of stupid to me. Why not focus all of our awesome remaking skills into creating good single player maps (and by our I mean certain people not including me nor half the people in this thread.) ?

so I this is the lamest thing to do to the hornet but take the peli physics and edit them to your liking but it can already float when hold still it can also use turning.

You can't "edit" steering systems. In Guerilla there is a set list you can choose from, and they are hard coded in. They aren't tags or anything.

tru and the H3 physics arent that good. i mean when u land on all 4 wheels u stop and have to accelerate all over again. and H2's physics are too bouncy

simulates real physics, when you land on all 4, the weight of the vehicle forces the wheels into the ground, therefore increasing friction.

thats tru too. but i prefer halo 1's hog physics anyways. reason why is cuz of a biased oppinion of when i play infection and im in a hog i get caught on the jumps when i land and get infected lol
