I need to know how to finish the map up, and go to the next level. Do you use a trigger volume and a script, or is there some other way? I need to know this asap!!!

calm down, tell us specifically what you need here. I don't get your point.
do you mean how to make another level link to another level once completed (like how a10 links to a30 once you complete it)? Or do you mean how to link bsps?

The way campaign maps progress from one to another is hardcoded into the engine. You could try using the map_name command, but I don't think that works.

Hmmm, i was just looking for the script that tells the game engine that the map has finished. there has to be some sort of way for a trigger volume to set off the script that tells the engine to play the final cutscene and then end the map and go to the next one. ive got the cutscene script all down pat. But i know there has to be some way to get my map (called a10) to go the next map in the game (a30).

if your first map is called a10, and the second map is a30, then the game engine AUTOMATICALLY does the job of switching the map from a10 to a30 for you as it is the default sequence of the campaign maps and the engine doesn't really care about what is inside.
BUT, if the name of your first map is first_map and your second map is named second_map, then scripting MAY be the only way to get the engine to switch maps, since it isn't the default campaign map sequence.

psuedocode:
if final cutscene has been played
map_name "your map name"

(i may be wrong)

He's trying to progress to the next level. But yes, using the game_won command would switch from a10 to a30, if your scenario replaces the original campaign's name.

I don't know very much about them, but I know its like water: You place a plane in the BSP model and attach a special material to it and then like a sky you can set the type of fog in the scenario. Search up some tutorials, I know I've seen some.

I believe map_name only works when you're in the main menu.
