i really am a n00b, arent i?
i have extracted the tags out of a map, changed stuff and want to make it into a level. Do any of the community here know how to?

first if its mp make sure your weapons you added a item collection sp is weapon. ok so put CMD in your halo ce directory then type.


tool build-cache-file levels\ \ \
^
test or the name of your scenario folder ^
scenario name
example
tool build-cache-file levels\test\tutorial\tutorial
example 2 if not in test folder
tool build cache-file levels\b40\b40.


then you wait until it lets you type again.

it sez that it failed to load the scenario

but i tried with another map and it worked. Where does it save it?

You don't copy and paste CMD. You make a shortcut to it and set the start in folder set to your halo custom edition folder. Or you use the cd command in Command prompt to change it's directory.

I copyd and pasted and it works for me.

It will work, but that's not how you "should" be doing it. Doesn't really matter, but...
