Ok then, Here's my Idea.
I saw alot of threads, about: Halo 3 Campaigns, It will neve happen..
---------------------------------------------------------
Though, the Halo CE community made many Halo 3 MP maps, Narrows, Sandtrap, The Pit, you name it.
---------------------------------------------------------


So with that said, I'm searching for people who have the skills, and time and patience, to make a Halo 3 MP map pack.

I had this idea for long, inspired by H3MT.

Of course, everythign will be from scratch, no beta stuff. And of course, no rips or other people's content.

So again, only apply if you got the time and patience.

I don't want to be like H3MT and copy them exactly, but we of course need:

-The Weapons
-Equipment
-The Maps (I was thinking about Guardian, Citadel, Heretic, Construct, Epitaph, The Pit)
-Bipeds
-Textures

Now we also need these people:

-Modelers
-Texturers
-Scripters (I guess) Because some things of Halo 3 (like equipment) isn't in H1, I KNOW DUAL WIELDING DOESN'T SYNC ONLINE, WE DON'T NEED DUAL WIELDING

Now, I'll show some work of myself, what I can do, because this topic would be pointless without me helping on the project:

Ripping halo 3 isnt so hard as long as you have the right tools.

exactly the right tools

So first you gotta try yo figur out how to make tools then you gotta figure out what halo 3 uses as its engine then u gotta put both those skills u just learned and then u can rip. thats the short version. I will never tell you how our team does it lol.

I highly suggest working by yourself, and learning to model and unwrap better. From what you've showed us, your no way in capable of doing something like this. I've only seen Penguin, and H3MT do this and be successful at it becuase the person and that team both are very experienced at doing things in halo and have been working with the engine for some time now. I suggest this highly becuase as of now, you need to learn to model better, make better organic things like cliffs, and such. Please don't take that offensive, but that exactly what I think. A team will also drag you down and you won't be able to do everything you want, even if your the team leader. You still need to make compromises and your team needs to work together. Most team's fail at this, and oftenly teams don't complete anything becuase there members are inexperienced or they took something way to large on to complete. Especially a project like converting Halo 3 things to CE, thats going to take alot of experience and people to do this.

tl;dr

Work by yourself and get better at Halo map making before taking on something so large to complete.

Rips are only cool if you relase unprotected tags. Why?

1. Your labeling BUNGIE's, not YOUR, content so others can't use it.

2. HCE Ripper will make the best of you.

I can rip Halo 3 Beta's 32 bit textures but it's not the best thing, and time consuming. (actually a couple min but I'm lazy)

We'll make our content from SCRATCH, no ripping..

hey dude, are u just making random maps but in halo 3 form? cause can u also create some actual MP maps that are in halo 3? e.g. foundry

and if u have played halo 3 b4, there will be bars in the corner of the screen saying which team is winnning, if u cud make that, u would be awesome!!!!!!

anyway, good luck and tell me when it comes out!!!!!!!

Actually,Slayer is talking about my team.hes a part of it.and i know how to rip from Halo 3.
i personally don't like ripping either...but i use it as a last resort.
