I liked it.

I was especially impressed when the hunter ran around and up the cliff to kill my sniper.

Btw, what's the health system?

I'm not exactly sure tbh ^^
I just modified the .collision-geometry the marines tougher than usual, so I guess you don't need health packs.

^ good point, but it might be different from your allies, idk.

Bugs:
-Marine calls you a Mark 5
-Ai spawn to low on the cliff, so they can't walk up
-The retical is slightly higher than the actual point of fire

* The last two make it hard to snipe your way through, either because you have to walk all the way to the edge to kill one or two grunts, or your sniper hits the ground because the retical's off.

I'd have to redo the entire animations for the last one. However, I can accommodate the second one, because I have changed the enemy spawns up quite a bit.

I thought about it, and I also thought about making it green because you play as a marine, but I am trying to retain the "combat evolved" feel at least to some extent, so I think I'll leave it as is.

Isn't the "Combat Evolved" feel the feeling of being invincible because you have shields and overpowered weapons?

Well I generaly have the impression that ai are stupid, I know its possible but I haven't really seen it happen and the heat of battle made it all the more unexpected.

After hearing that, I think I'll leave the Hunter's AI state to "moving - randomly" and turn the zealot's/elite commander's to "searching." Other than that, I'm changing them all to "guarding at guard position" and placing the firing positions in more strategic locations to hopefully increase the AI's intelligence, or as Gamma and l0d3x would "correct" it, make them appear more intelligent.

You're so predictable. I only said that because I knew you would have to respond, thus bumping my thread.

It's chicken noodle soup, I can't see how it could make you feel otherwise.

I'm sorry, but what part of I'm sticking with the Combat Evolved style is complicated? I don't intend to make any modifications to the AI other than the marines.

Well there's no use discussing it because Corrupted Halo Left CE. He told me on x-fire last night. He might return after a while but in the meantime,

He'll be back.

And indeed I am. But I don't know why...
I guess it's because I just can't leave something unfinished.
The work goes on.

Anywhoozle, I've decided to remake the map completely from scratch. I've asked Mysterion for his AI expertise, and he will be partially over viewing the AI if he accepts. There are MAJOR improvements right now over the old build, but I can't explain them here. I'll post a video of these improvements within the next week or two.

He hasn't shown anything to prove he is an expert at AI, he reminds me of myself when I started though, so he does have potential, but he's not there yet.

And yes, I have a high sense of self-esteem.
I have great capabillities, but low self-esteem. However, I am capable of 45 sacks next season.

wait what?

is it still gonna be PC-themed?
i think it shouldn't. PC theme includes stupid AI, and it would be sorta pointless.

Still classic theme. However I'm currently working on a secret project that will start production as soon as this one is finished, and it will not be using classic tagset. But no more details on that now.
