It's been a long time since I last played halo CE, and I can't remember how to get the weapons from halo 2 and 3 and even any other weapons from other games to use, I would appreciate a little help with this problem, please?

get the models,
animate the models with Halo 1's FP arms,
import the models and animations into Halo,
tag the weapons,
compile a map with the weapons.

No, it isn't. That's all there is to it.
But if you're trying to imply that what he said was hard, then you'd be correct.

This. Although, it depends on what you consider difficult. For me, obtaining and noding the models is the hardest part, as I can do all the other parts by myself. However, many people find noding easy. I don't know. I only tried once, and half-halfheartedly.

Tagging it is like the easiest part.

Tag your own M16 then, instead of asking me to send it to you when I said that I wasn't going to send animations :|

After asking me to send the whole M16, with the sounds that I spent time obtaining and converting :|

If you did it yourself, why did you complain that I was missing a firing effect? :smug:

I fixed it, and got my own sound, directly from the game, the raw sound. :smug:

I like how you said sound singular, when I had sounds, plural for reload, fire, and ready.

animate the models with Halo 1's FP arms,
import the models and animations into Halo,
tag the weapons,
compile a map with the weapons.

You missed the whole:

Grab Halo 3, put in drive.
Open with Hex editor and proceed to reverse engineer Halo 3's compression scheme.
Of all the parts, that's the hardest. Which, apparently, ZTeam figured out like 2 years ago lol.
They have ALL Halo 2 + 3 assets except sound (Halo 3's codec is Xbox 360 only)

Not to mention no one's ever going to get the tags from ZTeam :/

So getting tags that you don't have is now a crime?

It's to transfer files from the disk to the computer. Of course, there are other ways, but this is the most straightforward way.

What kind of files? A computer cant even read a 360 disc fully. And most of the files are hidden. The only files you would even need are the map files, and that can all be found on a website.
