the one with the roosterframes looks like it will be pretty good, and its got good graphics too.

Saw a thread about this earlier today. I can't stand it. The story is horrible, but you can't expect much from 18 minutes. They failed to get an emotional response from me at all due to lack of character development, especially on the spartan. They should have made it speak a bit more... Personally, I don't like Studio 4C's job on the art. The voice acting is horrible. Though, I am one of those guys who out of habit tries to turn the television to subs with japanese audio in the options menu. Apparently they don't have that option for normal television. The voice acting is worse here than on the Rozen Maiden dubs in my opinion.

I have no idea what they were thinking when they made the chieftin look like that. The elites were decent, the prophet looked horrible, was nice to see some grunts getting owned though lol

Brutes are not twice the size of a spartan. Forerunner architecture does not look japanese.
Spartans are not that fat. ODSTs do not have anime style hair.

Seriously, and I hated that they made the spartan "sexy." A female spartan definitely will not have hair that long, much less be that perfect (no battle scars from intense training/previous battles etc).

Sucks, they already took it down off of Waypoint.

Brutes don't have long beards and Spartans don't know martial arts. At least from Halo 1-3 I don't think they do...

Everyone has weird haircuts. That's why this was so painful to watch.

In the books, they learn many combat styles.

I thought it was pretty cool, only thing I didn't like was the sappiness of the story. Really the ODST are badass cause they throw apples? The Forerunner stuff was a little strange but if you believe Forerunner were human it's understandable.

i dont know... i defintely do not like the hairstyle of the ODST, Also why on earth would they go directly through a asteriod field?! It looks like its only 4 feet thick....
Should make the spartan less robotic feeling, and the forerunner building were very bad... Werent they also suppose not allowed let people know that spartans can die?

I could forgive some moments for others, like when the spartan used her HUD for the sniper forgave (slightly) the crappy architecture. I also liked the twist of Cal being a girl.
Also brutes do have beards, small ones in h3, but check this out.

Uhmmmm yeah...

it is true that chieftins have beards in Halo 3 but thats only because there like monkeys and are covered in hair. It dosen't matter anyway because the chieftins shouldn't be old. I mean with how old the chieftin looked in this episode it shouldn't have even been able to lift a gravity hammer much less manage to swing it fast enough to kill a spartan in one hit.

what... do you even know what a chieftain is? its like the highest ranking person of a tribe. look at any indian tribe. the chieftain is almost always an old man. why would it be any different with brutes?
if odsts can use the gravity hammer then so can an old brute

First off. That episode sucked so hard it FAILS miserably. The style of it FAILED. So was the architecture from the forerunners. Honestly, I was VERY disappointed with this. Hopefully Bones will do better. They do make some of my favorite anime.

Am I one of the few who liked it? We don't know how many kinds of forerunner relic types are out there! Though I do agree about the SPARTAN, she should have scars and shorter hair. Though she was pretty I'll say that.

i know lol. the first time i played odst through, i played it with my buddy since we both got it on the same day. i specifically remember yelling into my microphone about how fast you moved with a portable turret, yet you cannot dual wield even the magnums. with that in mind i suppose my example isnt as good as it could be. the point i was trying to make is that with strong creatures like brutes (think gorillas), even the old ones are still very strong.

and guys, lets not forget that this is an anime. since when has anime ever been even remotely realistic?

I wasn't expecting "Master Chief" to be a girl. That was untill I realized that they never said it was Master Chief.
I also couldn't get over the fact that they had anime hair.

I like it though.

Personally, I'm not that much of a fan of anime anyway. It seems to make all the characters sort of look alike.

That's wrong too. If all you watch is shonen anime for little kids, you probably wont see realistic violence.
