Is it possible to make a projectile (like a grenade) slide across the ground? I changed the friction on it, but it doesn't move horizontally if it isn't bouncing. Is there any way to make it slide, or at least simulate sliding?

I would imagine that has a lot to do with angle and elevation of release. Things dont slide if you lob them like a grrrrrrnade. Edited by Maniac1000 on Nov 3, 2009 at 09:25 PM

You could try an ice material.

Find the material you want it to slide on and at scroll all the way down. Find the parallel and perpendicular friction values and lower. Repeat the process for other values.
This will lower the amount of velocity lost when the projectile touches the cerain surface. Edited by UnevenElefant5 on Nov 3, 2009 at 09:42 PM

I tried putting horizontal friction on 0, but all it does is make the grenade spin in place after it stops bouncing.
