Do you think you could use a halo 3 skined AR so it looks better, thats my only complaint...and maybe reskinned marines like the one gamma uses...o and also when the pelican comes it should drop some more marines.

Is there a limit on waves? 'cause if not, I encountered a bug...

All ODST dead and 4th reinforcement, and then the enemies stopped spawning. I'd played in a 20 minute streak, and no deaths this time. They simply just stopped spawning.

I used Gamebooster to play this and I got a pretty good FPS rate with default settings. I made it to wave 10.

On wave 6, the phantom glitched and stood there. Once it passed though it respawned and reran it's route. Great job though, Lod3x, I enjoy playing this.

Oh yeah, and the Halo 3 AR IS crap. Please do not add it. My airsoft guns sound better than that.

Use an AWOL script, so that if the player were to accidentally stray into the area, he'd have a bit of time to get out. Of course, you should raise the barrier up as well.

Hmm i see your point...well maybe not a halo3 ar but a more high-def..shinnyer....maybe halo wars looking one?
I suppose 8 marines is enough thought their ai with the AR and shotgun could be better and err i think thats it.

if sounds the problem then you could just use a H3 ar but use H1 sound

I get his problem with the sound, I agree the H3 ar sounds way too quiet. I don't get how it looks like a toy though it looks just like the one from H1.

It's his personal preference, and he's the one making the map. Not much of a point trying to sway him.

If you go out of the area, it gives you a warning, and a timer for 3 - 5 seconds. If that time passes, and you're still there, it kills you.

Alrgith sounds like things r shaping up nicely, and maybe a halo 3 ish looking AR but with halo 1 color scheme eh? Also the marines using the ar should fire more frequently for supresive fire.

I personally found the BR very weak along with the BR marines, they were the first to go and I was glad, so the best thing to enhance would be them/it

Err don't use Bo's shader fix; use the original restore found in the earlier files on the website. Type in AR Fix.

The "original restore" has a messed up multipurpose. My shader fix is basically the same, which has the multi done right.

Sugesstion/crit:

1)When i played it it just felt like a laggy Big team battle type game :/

2)I like the Idea and ODST weps wpould be good

3)Mabey you could get rid of the sheild to give it a more firefight feel with odst fp hands or something

If you wait till january the new Macbook Pro's are coming out at an even lower price than they are now. Right now the Macbook Pro lineup is actually better and cheaper than Dell's laptop lineup. Plus being a student you get a discount as well. Mine was 100$ off for the low end 15" model.

hmmm yea ...mac...ermm. im gonna have t0 say no..every time...ever...never!

What are the specs? Even if you don't like OSX, the machines can still run windows and the hardware and engineering is some of the best. If your tight on money and don't care about the quality of the computer, go get that PC. No shame in that


Guess that rules out these forums. And Modacity for that matter, although some of them are bright enough to know windows has become a steaming pile of poo. I been using Windows since 3.1, it has nothing to do with computer literacy. If you had any substantial knowledge about Macs, both hardware and software, you'd know that OS wise it's been consistently better, even though W7 appears to have narrowed the gap. Hardware wise while they are more expensive the reliability, customer support, and engineering is superior to laptops with the same specs.
