oh my god this^. i played through the campaign once. wasnt terrible, but seriously lacks the replay quality of 1 and 2. i played the multiplayer for a few months of live, but thats because it was my first few months of xbl

The only good thing of halo 3 was the multyplayer. and i was kinda thinking who would want to pay 50 bucks just for a multyplayer game. the story officaly sucked. Halo 1 great story. halo 2 ok story halo 3 WTF.

this entirely for me, i mean, it was great from HPC to H3, but thats because i didnt play h2 in between. then halo 2 was win because its on pc, consoles suck.
BUT then we get cheaped with such a lama HEK for h2, so i step back to HCE again.

pretty logical flow, anyone want to play some L4D noaw? *trashes 360*

anyhow, what i like about HCE is what we do. if we had that for h3, that'd be great, but since we can't, we're taking matters in our own hand and godfrigging get halo 3 to halo 1 for sakes!!

really, i can't stand the bloodgulch mods anymore, gimme some overused correct valhalla mods then.

I think Halo 3 for PC is gonna come out for windows 7. I mean it makes sense right HALO PC for XP, HALO 2 PC for vista, so most likely HALO 3 PC foe windows 7. Also theres Bungies love of the number 7 so it makes sense. However they probally won't have a editable version but I'm sure some people will be able to mess around with it anyway.

Halo PC could run on Windows 2000. Does no one get that?

it ran on win 95 too i believe, but its not like any decent hardware was around to run the game at the time :V

Halo 1 runs on EVERY recent Windows OS (XP, 2000, vista, 7, etc)

My suggestion:

Save up for Awesome PC (wait til it's christmas)
then buy halo 3 for pc when it comes out.
or unreal tournament
or valve games...

Get a 360 but get another game instead of Halo 3. Suggestions:

Call of Duty [4 or World at War]
BF Bad Company
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Halo Wars

All of these are much better than Halo 3.

Halo Wars is hardly better than anything.

Go back to xbawx.cawm or whatever it is.
Red: Get those for PC
Green: I rented this, it's a pretty good game.
Orange: Get it for PC
Blue: After I heard how awesome it is I decided to restrain from buying it.
Maroon: I liked Halo 3 better than CoD: WaW because CoD: WaW glitched on the first level so I ragequit. I also like it better than the Rainbow Six games. Now, I admit CoD 4 is better. BF Bad Company is about a tie.

Halowars is terrible if you want a RTS wait til next year, SC2 will be the last RTS you will need (til SC3). Rent Halo 3 for campaign pick up Halo ODST for multiplay and Firefight.

Halo Wars wasn't totally terrible. I'm not a fan of RTS games but I like it. Sure I'm going to play Halo 3's Multiplayer a lot more but it still was a good game. The best thing about it were the cut scenes but I'm sure we all can agree that RTS games are best made for PC's.

ok, I will still save my money (by the way another reason I want 360 is to play Halo 2, I can ONLY run it on XP and it has HORRIBLE lag :(, and DON'T TELL ME TO GET VISTA OR 7!)

Unreal Anthology and UT3, you can get both for under 50 bucks I believe. That's prices combined. Very well worth it.

I am playing it on my dads EPIC gaming computer with double the minimum requirements, I HIGHLY doubt it's the computer!

Yeah that's it, since my computer can run crysis on normal but lags horribly when I play halo 2.

I can play Halo 2, and get a higher FPS on full settings, than in Spore. Sometimes, I wonder about this laptop...

Admit it you liked it cause it had Halo in the title, I must admit myself that I played it a few times with friends before I realized how completely unbalanced and ridiculous the game play, least I didn't buy. As far as the cut scenes it's a shame the majority of them were so boring, there were only two that felt cut scene worthy and there were some major flaws in those ones (from an animation perspective) but Blur makes some pretty CG!
