I'm having trouble getting 3ds max 8 to export a jms on my brand new pc running vista. I downloaded the Blitzkrieg exporter from Halomaps and followed the simple instructions... I copied the DLL's to the windows/system 32 folder... After a reset, I placed the blitzkrieg exporter plugin in my 3ds max 8 plugins folder... Now, everytime I start 3ds max 8, I get the following error... Any help would be appreciated.

Try copying the dlls to the 3ds max folder. I think it's a problem with it not finding them. So put them in the same folder as the exe so it will find them
E: I've had this problem with other programs and this is how u solve it. Not sure if it is a vista problem Edited by goyanks135 on Aug 15, 2009 at 01:04 AM

Are you using the one from Halomaps or the one that came with HEK?
The HEK version doesnt have Max 8 support. The one on Halomaps works for Max 8.
Its not a Vista problem, I use Vista and Max 8.

I guess my post was a little missleading, I was referring to the part about it not recognizing the dlls in the System32 folder. Once it finds the dlls by putting them in the .exe folder, it should run fine. No problem with blitzkreig and vista Edited by goyanks135 on Aug 15, 2009 at 07:12 PM

I'm using the one from HEK as it specifies that it works with 3ds max 8.
I copied the dll's the the 3ds folder and everything seems to work just fine.
Thank you guys!
