You don't know the power that you refer to. I gave my BR the power of the M6D, and it's good vs everything. The only limits on it is the ammo capacity, because it runs out quickly.

I loled at trying to play this on my laptop at 8 fps with my gfx (no spec, shadows, blood, lowest particles and lowest textures)

I was able to play this on my computer with a intel gfx card just fine. May have been in safemode, but i got 30 fps the whole time.

They didn't remove the M6D concept, they put it in the BR, and made the MA5B the SMG. And that's because the BR fires 3 shots. Tune down the M6D damage, and without the headshot damage multiplier, it'd be just like the MA5C. That is if someone can confirm that you can kill a grunt with a single burst from the MA5C.

I assume BRs in H1 are projectile-based, so they fire 3 individual projectiles, hand cannon-based.

Oh, and the $10 scam would spell leak.

Actually if you can play crysis on any setting with a decent frame rate, you dont need to upgrade.

Crysis has pretty much demanding specs, especially with video cards, so if you can run Crysis at its highest settings, you can run this game flying across the sky...

As for the bad luck, you just broke bungies lucky mirror, which is SEVEN years of bad luck. If you havent had bad luck, then youre just having bad luck with numbers.

I, sorry for the bump, but was playing through SPV2 a10 for the 3rd time when I decided to post the bugs I found and ideas I had instead of just PMing Masterz1337 on xfire (this is the point were everyone calls me a big fat lier, want proof? check 1gamerboy1's friend list) he asked me to use one of the forums on Modacity or here, and I only have an account here, so, here it goes:

Bugs:

Brutes are filled with blood and spray Everywhere

in the big open area's with the ladders, you have to jump crouch to make it up the ladder

very weak BR

Brutes need more weapons, like the Brute Shot or or Mauler

Brute Spiker is a bit weak

Brutes are very weak against you, but they take forever to kill

Brute Plasma and Elite Plasma are the same colors

Pistol is SO weak and needs more shots per clip, also, melee needs improvement

pyramid of grunts

in the Chiron place, all the enemies come rushing at you and leave all the other rooms empty,
this is also the ONLY place where I was doing it on Easy and I died

the marines need armor, they are to weak

lastly, sometimes you meet more than 1 Sgt. Johnson in 1 room! (also, he needs to be invincible like in Halos' 2 and 3, just so it can stick with canon)

Ideas:

Duel Wielding, it ONLY syncs with SP, and I think it would be perfect with SPV2! (also, I have not seen any SP mods with it yet)

able to fight in the hanger from the end of the Maw, I was shocked the original didn't have it in, because the Maw did, and about the outside part, just close the hanger doors

a Warthog run! now come on, THIS would make it awesome

Drones, the enemies were pains in Halo's 2 and 3, and if there are brutes, there should be drones also

talking elites and brutes, Halo's 2 and 3 had them, and people understood them, so why can't they in Halo 1?

guide Sgt. Johnson? maybe have to guide him through the level, if he is so important, then why do you not even care about him in this level?

Your posting alot of opinions and not bugs how weapons handle is a choice by CMT not a bug.

Dual wielding would be cool and I would like to see drones, if I remember correctly they planned to have drones but dropped them due to tagspace issues. Also they do have a bruteshot just not in the first level on account of the narrow hallways that would make it impossible to dodge. As for the spiker I don't know if they have one.

Since I got my BFG 9400 GT 1GB. I can play SPV2 with everything set to max. I can finally play it at 30 FPS with V sync on. Anyways, I found numerous bugs in it.

1) Brutes spray too much blood.

2) BR is too weak, same with the pistol.

3) The brutes throw frag grenades when they should be throwing plasma grenades.

4) Fix the ladders.

That's all for now I guess.

1) fix the br anims it just looks weak like it is, the old ones looked better

2) get a new br model as well old one looks funky

3) make the pistol sounds quieter and make it's silent, i shouldn't be able to wake up grunts with it

To play spv2 you only need a god video card cause everything else in my pc is crap and i get 45 fps.

But any way nice work on the SP hope it all comes out soon.

They have the brute shot, but not in the Pillar of Autumn. Note that the sniper rifle isn't in the PoA either, nor is the rocket launcher.

If syncing was the only problem... Realize, that for dual wielding, the script on the website requires you to script a trigger volume above every single weapon. That, will take forever for a single player map. Also, since AI drop weapons when they die, and you can't create trigger volumes after the map has been compiled, you won't be able to dual wield any weapon that's dropped.

Takes a while to convert dialog.

Realize how many scripts you'd have to write just to make this happen. AI tend to freeze once the BSP is switched, unless you tell them to migrate to another encounter. You'd have to script him for every BSP, which would no doubt be a tedious task.

No, not really, I'm pretty sure there' at the BSP limit anyway.

Drones, the enemies were pains in Halo's 2 and 3, and if there are brutes, there should be drones also

Blue = Elite
Red = Brute

I can't play halo for the next month, so I can't get you screenshots, but they're obviously different. The HUD text even says "Picked up an Elite Plasma Rifle" when you pick up a blue one.

yeah Gamma I agree about the elite and brute dialog but considering how long this projects been going they probally would have been able to compile a good bit of it.

They already compiled all of the H2 Brute dialog, and flood dialog. You can rip halo 2 sounds, but only a very select few (if any) know how to rip Halo 3 sounds. Since halo 2 brute dialog was just roaring and stuff, you can't really understand their dialog. Elite dialog already exists, as well, so why bother having to compile new ones?

Also, open up a .dialog tag in Guerilla, and note how many sound tags are referenced. Then, open up every single sound tag, and look at the number of permutations.

. . . . . . . . yeah I see your point. To tell you the truth it dosen't matter too much anyways I would be too busy punching the brutes and elites in the face to notice what they were saying lol. I do think dual wielding would be cool but as many people have said its just far too complicated and complex to bother with. I think everything looks good except for a few bugs here and there.

Why do people keep complaining the BR and pistol are too weak when the pistol is overpowered and the BR is overused(they're 2 different things)?

It's probably because you use those two things against shields, and don't bother to aim for the head. Oh, and don't strafe too much when firing the BR, else the shots'll spread. Seriously though, the AR is weaker. Did not quote post with length as a reason.

i noticed that in the beta, the battle rifle doesnt take explosive rounds from other BRs, it switches weapons like it's a battery...
