Yeah I know right. To tell you the truth I can't decide now because I kinda agree with dude55 that its kinda strange that CMT would just drop SPV2 after all the time and effort spent. However CMT is a good mapping team that does good work and as for if they rip content I don't know if thats true or not but I mean really who cares all that matters is in the end SPV2 turns out good. Also if CMT does cancel it then someone should try to get as much of the original SPV2 content as possible and try to make it themselves.

Ugh, I'm not reading through this crap.

1) SPv2 is not dead.
2) If you steal tags, you're a jerk.
3) No, CMT doesn't rip. People like to claim that just to spam, without providing any examples of what we supposedly ripped.
4) Even if Masters dropped the project, the rest of the team would still finish it up and get it out.
5) This stuff takes a lot of time to do, and we don't have limitless free time to do it. We have 9 other levels we've been working on simultaneously, so no, a10 isn't all we have.

I go on holiday and dsali (maybe recon devestor) comes back. -sigh- maybe I'll just go on holiday again.
Tbh I don't care weather SPV2 gets released anymore and just stays forgotten on some guys hard drive. I just hope CMT had as much fun making it as i used to have anticipating it.

Um, am I the only one here who doesn't care all that much if spv2 gets released or not?
Honestly guys it's not that big of a deal i don't think a whole lot of us expected it to come out within this year anyways and not releasing it wouldn't hurt the community that bad. The only thing I would be slightly dissapointed about would be the new multiplayer, that's what this game really needs anyways is more people playing together.

Apparently it is a pretty easy thing to do. Supposition in the absence of fact often leads to hysteria in the lack of need no more so than in people overly invested in matters of little consequence.

People, I know enough about Arteen to have confidence in what he says and although the sun may indeed explode if CMT didn’t finish their mod, I am not running out to buy sun block any time soon. So I think it would be best to read what the people actually in the CMT team have to say than to rely on the ranting of a few malcontents.

Greatly impressed by this when I playtested it on my friends PC.

Couple things i noticed were how odd the Feul Rod looked first person and charging,never bothered look in 3rd person.

Music in the new BSP would be nice.

Other than that, Nice so far :)

umm no offense to cmt is this is fo real but...this is the stupidest thing ever being done in halo ce history, i mean come on just ask for donations or something and i'd gladly donate but asking for 10 dollers then giving the map out early is retarded not to mention unfair to alot of people.

Well I guess the tags release wouldn't, and shouldn't, and I hope won't, delay the release. It's just like how CMT released the SMG tags they used for SPv1, except it was before the release. Anyways I think that CMT will just make a better tagset for MPG3, and the next SPV, if there will be any. But still, we have ODST and Reach to remake, but a rotting engine.

I'm glad to see Dennis still has a sense of humor after all of this.

Umm... one major thing about this map and all other maps released by CMT thus far has been the BR with the grenade launcher. It has way too slow of a nade detonation and resembles the plasma nades sticking ability a little too much. I have only encountered one map with a decent grenade launching BR but the problem with that one was the nades were instant kills. Suggestions for tweaks: remove the nades yellow glow and place in a contrail instead(something resembling the frag nade's), remove or shorten the time length between the nade's detonation and its resting point(i'm guessing this was taken from the frag grenade due to its inability to detonate until it hits a solid surface),change the distance tragectory angle on the nade launch(it fall too close and too fast; it seems like you have a baby underhand tossing the projectile at the enemy)... Other than those, i think thats it.

The projectile travels fine, in my opinion. Nevertheless it's much more powerful than the Boomshot in Gears of War. Why so?

Oh, and giving the assault rifle the default hand cannon damage effects seems to make it seem as powerful as the real MA5C, although a little bit more powerful. From what I know you should be able to kill a grunt in 3 rounds. Or a single burst.
